My friend, sorry for the rant, but you should present the differences without omitting your opinion. Base your comments on evidence and do not successively influence people. Personally, I like the Tesla design, however it lacks some important quick access items, such as the emergency button, opening the trunk at the front and back, as well as the glove compartment. Constantly seeing your speed while looking at the center panel is not safe. In my opinion, Tesla only needs to remove the 60Kwh battery from the SR and install the one from the LR (+/-$1000) to make a difference, add quick buttons, and a display in front of the steering wheel. This will all cost about $100 and I had the perfect car.

Tesla remains wholly dominant with Cybertruck looking further to cement that as far as pure play BEV anyways. Really is remarkable how Tesla had the entire ecosystem to itself for nearly a decade and Tesla spent *MASSIVELY* in that time in China, Europe, North America and who knows where next ... besides Texas. Competition with the Tesla Model Y most definitely being realized from first off Rivian but now GM and Ford. Still yet again Tesla remains wholly dominant specifically with Model Y so while Model 3 sales very much matter not nearly as material as was true when the Tesla Model 3 was first introduced. Model S and Model X still very much material to Tesla tho as will Cybertruck be. Tesla off to a very strong start to 2024 as well. Not really a fan of Cybertruck but expect demand to be as fast as can be made...which appears to be pretty darn fast at the moment. Big opening for Ford, Rivian and GM created by some surprising unforced errors in Cybertruck tho given tremendous delays up until now. Tesla Roadster 3.0 is next up which might be able to put the stake in the heart of range anxiety that one for sure. That no other pure play sports car in the offing by anyone other than Tesla is quite strange actually...so yet another win for Tesla en route for that one as well. Legacy Sedan near all total Japanese badges excepting Hyundai-Kia definitely under severe strain at the moment absolutely...but clearly beat out all pure play BEV at the moment big time still. If an after market for the Tesla Model 3 starts to grow however that could very much change big time. Long $hmc Honda Motor Corporation strong buy.

However the reputation now is one of superb quality. China is making the same transition. If Chinese cars entered the US market it would spell the end of the US auto industry. Next, ask who wins if China says "screw you" and "takes their ball home"? . Battery materials? Gone. About 60% of components for ICE cars? Gone. Not to mention the brainpower coming from China, which generally is of a higher standard. (Average IQ in China is [as I recall] ±22 places higher than the US on the Global index) . Without traction control, it's shocked early buyers by being one of the most dangerous lemons ever introduced. It is no Volkswagen ID3 competitor.. let alone that of a Tesla Model 3.
To me I like the Xiaomi Su7 in terms of looks, features, performance and it is cheaper.
How expensive are nVidia chips right now? Is that supplier sustainable for Xiaomi if they want to make millions of these cars?
Last year, Tesla paid $2Billion for 10,000 A100s. Presumably, H100s cost more.
I dont think the range is right for the model base model 3 you said the range was 600 kilometers thats about 340 miles thats long range.
Cleanerwatt - multiple papers Disprove the Xiaomi su7 as a Competitor to TESLA model 3.
Well go out and buy one but I would recommend seat belts helmets and life insurance . Maybe do a little more research
How much of that is legit tho? After all this Tesla fire, safety etc stuff I can't any of this seriously lol. Is it actually a concern and why has it been happening?
suspension problems leading to out of control cars crashing. see electric viking
@@lachlanB323 well I know this is a stretch for you have you looked at safety scores on tesla's???? LOL facts are not important in your life
@@stilllearning7434Referencing the Electric Viking?! Not a very balanced or credible source. Nice guy and I appreciate his passion but it is very poor reporting rife with unproven heavily biased monologue. Take what is reported there with a "grain of salt". 😊
@@stilllearning7434 that guy is not reliable news source, although i rate him higher than china observer. he quick to report without confirmation.
The SU7 is clearly better and cheaper by quite a big margin. The only advantage model 3 has is FSD which cost like 8k more lol
Is it really competition, because it doesn’t make a profit and there isn’t a path for it to get there.
it's not competition, both will be sold easily, as much as they produce will be sold, all EVs are the very impending and dangerous competition to the ICE industry
You did not mention how much of a knock-off of the model 3, something only China can get away with.
They all copy. Tesla looks like a Porsche, or Mazda. It gets the job done.
Only the cybertruck breaks new ground.
It’s much more of a Taycan copy than any Tesla.
Xiami Su7 looks much more expensive than the Tesla model 3 refresh. The body design is way more advanced. IMHO
Partner with NIO will come BATTERY SWAP.
That is a failed concept, will be bankrupting Nio. SU7 is charging fast enough, only better charging infrastructure is needed
I'm risk averse. I know what I am getting with the M3. I still don't understand how they will ever make a profit. I'm not going to buy a car and have them go bankrupt a few years later. Also, it can take years to fine tune the ride quality and software. I would wait until they have have several years of experience under their belt
Most beautiful EV
They have already made billions in increased share price, more than paid for development.
As long as Apple has a car factory partner in China, Apple car will come true earlier than mi su7.
In my opinion, you are presenting and comparing a current Tesla vehicle with future Xiaomi vehicle. All such offerings are typically coming later, while Tesla cars are already available and in sufficient quantities. At the time Xiaomi is able to manufacture this car profitably, Tesla will be beyond the horizon already.
Not necessarily, they do use gigacasting and modern battery chemistry/architecture from CATL.
Hundreds of xiaomi su7 already delivered since April 3rd, 2024, the new xiaomi factory is as advanced as tesla in Shanghai. Tesla is indeed facing tough competition in China.
How is the crash worthiness of the SU7 ?? Xiaomi might cut corners if not tested by an independent institution.
For how many years Tesla lost money for each sold car? Obviously Xiaomi will loose bit on its first car.
DO NOT bet against Xiaomi.
.
Does anyone here have actual experience of their products?
.
Only ask because I'm typing this on a Xiaomi phone I bought for a bargain price over 3 years ago that still works perfectly.
.
Tesla doesn't need to worry.
.
Everyone else?
Needs to get their act together.
xiaomi product amazing with low price 120000 car sold in 36 h
You should watch China Insider's episode on the Xiaomi SU7.
Trust me you want the tesla. haha it's not even a competetion.
Tesla no longer has a Full Self Driving Beta, they have Supervised Full Self Driving now.
which means nothing. Still long ways from SAE level 5 "full self driving" Musk promised 10 years ago. Let me know when Tesla will indemnify any accidents caused by "full self driving". NEVER!
Chinese crap, if you think it is amazing, buy a life insurance ag get behind the wheel. Tesla often imitated, never duplicated.
Chinese crap? That's at best a political statement. Lots of very high quality products emanate from China. When I grew up "made in Japan" was a joke. However the reputation now is one of superb quality. China is making the same transition. If Chinese cars entered the US market it would spell the end of the US auto industry. Equal or better quality at pricing that is better value. The US should erect import barriers or China will finish what Japan started in the 70's. It would be RIP for the legacy automakers.
The best quality Tesla vehicles come from......?
@@sunrisejak2709
What happens if the US "erects import barriers"?
.
Well, for a start, about 70-80% of goods will become more expensive.
Next time you're in a store selling "non-food" items, pick 10 items at random and check the country of origin.
.
That'll be instant inflation.....
.
Next, ask who wins if China says "screw you" and "takes their ball home"?
.
Battery materials?
Gone.
About 60% of components for ICE cars? Gone.
Not to mention the brainpower coming from China, which generally is of a higher standard.
(Average IQ in China is [as I recall] ±22 places higher than the US on the Global index)
.
They'll just concentrate on the 70+% of the market that *isn't* the US and leave... The US in a contracting market selling outdated technology.... For higher prices.
.
The US tried to Capitalise over China over the last 2 decades, but China won.
@@rogerstarkey5390China. Faults or defects recognized at handover is substantially less in the Teslas out of Shanghai. Freemont and Texas Tesla facilities while they've significantly improved are still statistically behind China. It's closer today though. I took delivery of my Tesla model 3 in Thailand (Shanghai product). Zero defects. No panel gap issues. No paint issues. No squeaks or rattles. Nothing. Basically it's free of any issues. 30,000 km now and zero issues to report. Elon Musk himself is impressed with China Tesla workers and product and transferred Tom Zhu from Shanghai to Texas to being the same level of quality production to their US operations.
Cleanerwatt - Xiaomi cant even outsell BYD or GW in china.
their sales already impressive for first timer.
All wheel drive betters than su 7 rear wheel
Lmao, the Xiaomi is the permanently crashing version of the model 3
Cheaper just as good....SU7
Three
This is my worst kind of review, one real the other never seen. Why bother until you can drive and test both? This is a waste of everyone's time.
So let me get this straight you are comparing the multi year production car to a company with no track record, which isn’t here and you haven’t driven…
My time is too valuable to waste it on what appears to be a sad attempt to produce content
Good bye
I know you bought Nikola and Fisker stock too.
I would far rather have the Tesla model 3. Tesla is a proven brand.
Proven as in Musk hypes and fake promises? Where is a million robo-taxis by 2020 as promised by Musk? Appreciating Tesla car value? How about your Tesla earning $30K/year as robo-taxi? All fake All Tesla cars suffer from very poor depreciation, super expensive repair costs and frequently totalled in minor collision.
These are falling apart or crashing at insanely high rates
how biased can you get? lmao
This guy is just a tesla fanboy.... or he just doesn't know anything about design..or he is just an old grandpa at heart..
Other than the minor detail that the car handles like greased pig and early buyers can't seem to stop crashing it. Congratulations, you've just reinvented the 1965 Shelby AC Cobra.
OTA update to stability & traction control software …
How hard can it be?
It was literally only one isolated incident of crashing. This car go from 0 to 60 in 2.78 seconds, some people are just not used to that fast
oh, other than the tiny brain you have, you are just rebirths of long pigs from 10000 b.c., lmao
oh, other than the non existent tofu dregs heads you have, you are just rebirths of piggers from 10,000 b.c., lmao
oh, other than the non existent tofu dregs h33ds you have, you are just rebirths of peags from 10,000 b.c., lmao
Cleanerwatt - its no Comparison.
the TESLA model 3 has Class leading SAFETY & build Quality in China.
the Xiaomi SU7 is not even as safe as the Tesla model 3.
Why? because newbie cant handle its top model and loose control? They have more physical button already safer than tesla.
model 3 Nm/deg stiffness is around 34.000. Xiaomi su7 is 55.000 Nm/deg stiffness. By these numbers, you should already know who is safer
Cleanerwatt - the Xiaomi su7 is a very CRAPPY built car by BAIC in China .
Xiaomi only has the Smartphone integration, it does not have any AI computer hardware , nor do they have any FSD software.
Xiaomi is sus
Tesla model 3 interior is the most boring interior they ever done in a car. How can you say is better 🤔 tesla obviously paying you some money
Fake model 3 so I won't buy. Does it have FSD. ?????????
It's Taycan sized for less money.
