France is so beautiful. I’m just driving back up through France after hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc. Quite hard going but a stunning hike.

I guess you will find food on trail quite easily in the Vosges. I wouldn't worry too much about not having enough food.
I also often travel solo and I think it's great. Visiting the farm sounded like a lot of fun and I would have loved to hear your Frenlish!

Hi Lauren, regarding your question about what to mention, with there being some confusion regarding location of water is it possible to mention the mile/klm where water is found? Thanks for your help.
Good question! This would be very hard to do- I’d have to stop and make a note every time and I haven’t done that :/

Great hike! Was the "alpine" section really that narrow? Scary for someone who is afraid of height. The visit to the farm was certainly an exciting experience for a city dweller😅
It really was! It was a fun section to hike though, and they had a rail or a chain on the narrowest parts.
Haha I’d never seen anyone milk a goat before, so that was new 😂
