Sometimes Iommi makes Metal guitar playing sound so beautiful. All i want to do cry.
Well said!
Tony's favourite solo(s). Nuff said.
Heaven & Hell has to be one of the greatest comeback albums ever. The guitar solos on this one are just on another level
Agreed.
Well done! This is a guitar player's song for guitar players, done in Iommi's style as only he can do it, in his sort of personally evolved blues metal style. This is a great song for people who like the sound of a guitar. I think you essentially got the gist of the lyrics correct. I think the idea is a metaphorical one about letting go of ambition, struggle and even life and moving on, and allowing your focus to not be about the world (millions) but only about yourself (one).
It is Ronnie. His 1st and best sabbath album.
Counting from millions to one I feel is a reference to the joys of childhood to the brutality of adulthood
Check out their song "Signs of the Southern Cross" and the song "I" . Dio on vocals.
Excellent choices, Adam! Don't forget Bible Black and Follow the Tears. :)
@@mikeg.4211 Also Don’t forget Rock and Roll Angel.
@@mikeg.4211 - I agree Bible Black and Follow the Tears are great songs.
