    What turbo, injector size, and fuel pump is needed for this block? I’m interested. I have a DW 300c fuel pump and Cobb 1050cc injectors but only a Cobb 20g turbo. I’m wonder if I got one of these from you if it would be as simple as a bigger turbo and a new pro tune to make more power. Would it even be safe to run this block with my current fuel and turbo set up?

    Watched this 3x already. It’s so damn relaxing just looking at all the new shiny metal and then watching a “Subie God” work his magic haha. I mean maybe my wife can convince her, in a video thats coming soon of series grey out having fun haha.

I can say though after going Stage 1+ the other day, the wife definitely starting to understand the fun side of modding the subie. we got some launch control and rolling launch to play with. She stayed out in the garage with me when I installed the Air Box and AP. Right now I’m in the middle of boredom so I’ve got the TMIC off and took off the throttle body and cleaned it. Hi there sir! Thank you for your support. My experience/ opinion is RA block is the same pile as years before lol. They’ve broke them with a stock sti turbo multiple times, and still rod knock. • @BaderBuiltRacing
      @BaderBuiltRacing  4 роки тому

      Yea it’s pretty common to be able to daily drive forged engines, obviously we begin pushing the limits of that term when you get to a certain power level. It honestly depends on the person and what type of self control they have. But that’s a whole different topic. To answer your question more, all my personal cars always have very similar engines to one in this video and we daily drive them with no issues 👍

    What hp will this build be at? I have the same setup but with Manley performance crank and I beams. Just recently spun a rod bearing and the crank and rods are probably trashed. Should I go stock crank and H tuff rods? I am at 500whp now with a goal of 700+

      This build will make 700-750whp dynojet, whatever the turbo will make.
      My series grey sti makes right around 900whp with these h-tuff rods and stock crank.
      My hyperblue makes over 1200whp on stock crank, and manley tri-beam rods.

    Why not cp Carrillo internals?

      Personal preference. I make 1100+whp with Manley without a issue.

      Hey I mean whatever works , so the manleys are pretty reliable at that hp ?

      What pistons do you run?

      Manley turbo tuff w/ upgraded pins for the racecar. But depends on power goals for rest.

    People cannot possibly be this exact and anal and precise building a STi motor normally.
    I get it for video but this isn't done for a 600 HP engine...
    Is it

      Many motors ive built have done it on them, series grey makes the same power hyper blue used to when it trapped 880whp. It also revs out to 9800rpms as well without any issues. You get the benefit of a engine having longer life and lighter internals, but yet their strong enough to hold the power. I obviously am a supporter of I-Beam rods, they have their place and it just wasnt there on this build.
