Usually "had to" or "should" is a signal that the decision is coming from logic. It does feel heavy.

One plus : we save a lot of money because we can't decide what to buy and spend so long browsing, then get distracted and onto something else.

You are spot on at 10:20 that ENFPs should make decisions based on Ne and Fi to stay true to themselves. Logic decisions come from your Ti (7th slot) blindspot and will fail you most of the time. Good advice Mindi :)

What you said about the first idea is usually best... made me realize that I often weigh all options to prove to myself that what I really want is the RIGHT decision. Such a waste of energy 😆

Yup, it is. I highly advise to check my video on Fi development for ENFPs, it will help you on your journey: ua-cam.com/video/0mYscYlAeJg/v-deo.html

I totally just made myself miserable trying to plan a trip. It was just like you and your coat. I totally did what you are saying, but I think I ended up having a breakthrough, then a big fail. I think I may have actually used logic AND emotion which would be a first. That was breakthrough on the initial part of the decision. Interestingly, I think what I ended up on was not my first idea, like you said. It was what God had told me initially. I think God told me to go to Santorini. I decided a group tour would be good, because I wouldn't have to be totally alone. (I didn't feel like bringing anyone I know who would be willing to go.) Then I realized I was short on money and ,planning the trip myself, I could do way more for less money. I spent hours and hours coming up with a plan. Perfectionism. Then, I realized executing my plan was going to be SO complicated I was stressed just thinking about it. I finally decided to go by myself to Santorini and skip Athens(which was the complicated part), because that was the only way I would ever go. I chose a resort with lots of amenities and activities so I wouldn't have to arrange things myself. I think all that was actually a good decision. THEN, I decided not to go on the trip, because it was still expensive, I needed to save more first, I needed to have my work more prepared and I felt scared about making the wrong decision. That was long. That was me thinking "out loud".

I love this video!! It couldn't have came in a better time lmao. I always second guess all of my decisions and as you've said, have had a hard time making them. But I've noticed that decisions that come from the heart tend to be better!!

Felipe is quite clearly an ISFP, you can tell because he is being present with you and listening to your every word without interruption or judgement.😀

Interesting assesment! I will tell later why I think he's an INTP, but I like this theory! 😀

I gotta think Felipe has more Se than me (an INTP) to be cuddled happily for a 12-minute video. But that's as much as I know.
Regarding decision-making: Are there Fi hacks available for the process - some megavalue you can put over the competing values in the moment? Something like "I value not spending more than 2 hours on picking a winter coat" - would that work? (As you can guess given my type, I don't understand how Fi works.)
