We spoke to him at bluedot 2018, where he gave us insight into how his music career began, if there may be life elsewhere in the universe and what he would say to those extra-terrestrials.

I met Numan on his 1998, 2001, and 2015 tours...the way he talks to you in that unassuming, chill, low key humorous way is EXACTLY the same way this interview is.!
A very genuine person in the music business. Answers questions, without trying deflect the question, or make himself look better with the response. Vastly, vastly, underrated, for reasons beyond why, maybe the next few years will be Gary's', and they will be thoroughly deserved.
It’s nice to see a rock n roll star like Gary being so down to earth and honest about his career that he is showing his human side being humble.
Great interview - Gary is totally on top of his game at the moment. I love his new album savage and his previous album Splinter!
Such a humble dude..I would love to just chill by my pond and have a chat with Gary...sigh.... someday...lol.
I love this I have been a fan 💕 for years love his music 🎶🎵
"It's a bit harsh ... when you've got kids" :-)

I love the way Gary is so humble and when he gets giggles
Gary you are so humble, but you may have been one of the last to find it but you were the only one to master it and make it something that no one else ever could! That's why we love you so much keep rocking.
Such a down to earth, humble, bloke. I wish I could get hold of the videos of when he still lived in England, fans camping in his garden etc.
Very humble man

I love Gary he is my absolute gothic beauty bless him
"Get rid of us." Yup.
I just went and saw Gary Numan here in Colorado recently and he put on a great show. I can't help but feel some of his 90's industrial type sound has become cohesive and really solidified.
Gary are you ok from the Cleveland accident?? My family was so worried we were actually going to go to the concert and meet you but the accident happened, I prayed and prayed for that man, he’s always in my prayers
The music of my past..still today..cheers man!!
And this is precisely why I adore this guy so much.
