- this is a clip of Persia and Echo singing the 'If I Said' piano demo. Gary just finished the lyric and they had just that minute come home from school. They didn't really know the tune at all so it's a little wayward in places. They are both dyslexic, so them reading it at all was enough to make Gary watery eyed, but having your own children sing one of your new songs is about as special as it gets.
Mr . Numan it really show's how great of a father you really are ! , BLESS YOU , YOUR DAUGHTERS and your WIFE , thank you for the wonderful years listening to your music and I still listen to your music 😀😀😀😀😀
Oh my gosh!! Oh my gosh!! How beautiful is this Gary teaching his beautiful young girls to sing the words on the MacBook, and then explaining the background music, what the instruments are. This is priceless, he is such a proud dad! When I watched this I had tears in my eyes. Gary Numan forever!! Gary I hope your entire family is healthy and happy!!

I’m an Aspie too! I’m afraid of having kids too because I’m afraid of my Aspergers making me incapable of being a good mom. But I still do think of wanting a kid and this gives me hope. If Gary can do it, why not me?
I think his children are his biggest supporters it is so lovely and rare to see.
I really enjoy these glimpses into Gary's life. How wonderful that he feels able to share them with us. I only have gotten to meet him once, before he had children, and he was a very kind and genuine man in person. :)

I'm not joking when I say this! but I wouldn't be surprised if his daughters released albums of their own in the future, these girls have more talent than any X Factor wannabe! they are actually getting involved with real music and real production

He (under real name) signed 3 free passes for me and my 2 mates (Alex and Tracey) to see him in Manchester Apollo (maybe 1984?) - his support band's keyboard player worked with my friends dad (i.e. semi-professional) and so Tracey got three passes - no SEATS so we had to stand up at the back. I became a fan that night (all my music was rock or metal but that concert was astounding).
Seeing him here a few years before Persia started performing with him on album and stage is amazing. I hope to see him live again soon - 37 or 38 years sounds long enough. Love the last 2 albums I bought yesterday.

What a great video.shows what a loving family they are. You can tell by, arms around each other, that they are very close. Clearly very talented children and eager to learn. Quality time which, sadly, some children never get.

So charming & yet so tragic ! As a lifelong fan of Gary numan im captivated by his dark, low-end, apocalyptic sound;- yet as a Christian I'm screaming out for his daughters NOT to be taken down the Dark Angel/ Dark lord path that their Father has chosen. With insight I believe I'm correct in stating that Gary does indeed know the God of Heaven - yet i believe im correct in stating that while knowing Him he has point-blank rejected any part of His spirit, redemption, knowledge & faith. I remain so sad for both Gary whom I love, but also for his most beautiful and sweetest daughters who I fear might follow Gary to an Eternity where no part of God - Gods love - Gods mercy exists;- just hell. ### Gary? If you ever get to read this, please, please re-think your antipathy with God ! It wasn't HIM who created this evil earth, it was Satan; the pride filled Angel who believed he could overthrow God and take His position. Out of pure rage & steaming revenge against God for dispelling him from his Heavenly position, he thus went after God's most precious creation;- humankind of course. THAT is why the earth is so terribly evil:- like minded humans who have sided with Satan who now, unknowingly, do Satan's bidding.
