I remember being about 13 years old and laughing my ass off at this, and both my dad and my maternal grandfather were recovering alcoholics. The only saving grace to my finding this was finally picturing the guy in my mind and remembering he played the overly strict dad in 10 Things I Hate About You. Thank you for uploading this! It always made me smile even on the worst of my early adolescent days and it's picked me up now, as a thirtysomething stressed and weary to the point of (frustrated) tears.
I totally agree with your comment. I saw this routine on TV maybe 20 years ago and I have never forgotten it. My favourite parts are the bit about the devil on the shoulder and the sun being God's flashlight! I could not remember who did the routine either. But I am so glad I saw this. Reminds me of certain sections of my twenties....
