Just curious for potential future possibilities.... How/What do i do, to get on a video bro?
Ive got a standard focus mk2 1.6 tdci on stage 2 at the mo, running 172bhp, But got more to go, Gearbox failed on dyno, So had to stop at 172bhp, But should be looking at around 200bhp when all done.. BUT im currently saving for an even bigger turbo, As im already running BMW 330d injectors that have enough to give, So will be going stage 2+/stage 3 hopefulyl soon, So plenty more than 200bhp to go :) Being built as a sleeper. all totally stock exterior etc :)
the way i see it.. 200+bhp from a 1.6 diesel, is pretty damn awesome :) High figures from a little engine :D

I've seen a few of these 2.0 tfsi that are seriously quick. even a stock one, or a remapped stage 1 are quick!
I drive a Seat Leon Cupra which is the same engine as the Golf edition 30 and they respond very well to mapping 😁

My edition 30 is currently stage 1. It's just crazy that from stock 227bhp, a stage 1 takes it up to 290-310bhp. Absolute weapons, and a real pleasure to drive.
@@zSiLenTzZ very tuneable engines mate. My Cupra is running R-Tech stage 2 at present, 338bhp and 341ft*lbs it's a monster on motorways.
TheBeardyMan you’re not wrong there bud. It just eats up the road. Mine is running the revo tune. Just keeps pulling and like you said before, they respond very well to tuning. Eventually I’ll take it to stage 3, just waiting on my pockets to fill up a little more lol

Was looking up billet / forged parts , came across a company in Australia that make full engine blocks out of aluminium . Engine block can withstand 1700bhp for a 4 cylinder and the rb30 is 2500bhp . Some cool stuff check it out . Website was bullet race engineering .
R-TECH are geniuses, They mapped my car in 2016 and its still running very strong.

Nice to see one of these, got the exact same engine swapped in my manual a3 quattro. Only i have the tt420 hybrid with 414hp, great turbo's best hybrids for these engines i recon,the spool and mid-top rev power is great, if you don't plan on going 500+hp then pick the tte480 and keep stock drivability, only a shame a couple of months after i bought my tte420 they released the tte480.but running stock s3/ed30 injectors atm so power is limited for me,so i need the tt480 and the rs3 injectors and i'm set engine is also forged so no prob. Only my car weighs 1500+ kg due to awd and need some good tires,planning on running 245/35/18's on my 3piece artec mk dynamics.fronts are 9.75"x18" and rear(currently rebuilding) are 10.25"x18".That ed30 is a sick car and becoming pretty rare i recon too.Top content bro👍✌️👉

the stock mk5s off the line are quite quick and torquey, compared to my super light 2zzge celica making about 200hp at around 1100kg off the line it walks me a bit but when i get into lift i start to reel these back in but these cars every day for a normal person are super quick, raced one that was probably a stage 1 tune, had a horible popcorn map on it and it walked me even when i was ringing out the gears although it was a mk7 and looked like it had some money put into it

How did the stock engine blow with the 430hp setup? What part failed? This turbo would be sweet but doing a full forged engine is not so appealing... might as well go for a GTX3076 if you have to spend that kind of coin... and be good for 550+ PS. Would've been sweet if the engine would've held on stock internals tho :)

I bought a mk7r last year as a replacement for my mk5 ed30 stg2.... still got both cars...why...the ed30 is different...raw power as described in the video. 👍
Great engine, had my MK2 TT mapped at R-Tech to stage 1 couldn't be happier with the performance.
Mine does like a drink of oil though 0.5L per thousand miles. 5w40
I have a Mk2 Audi TTs which liked oil too even after using 10w40. When I replaced the PCV valve (sounds like a trombone when it fails), it stopped using oil so I guess that was the underlying cause. WARNING - only use the GENUINE VW/Audi part - I tried a cheaper part and it failed after a few days!!!!!!
