Smell bullshit on the 400bhp ko4 with standard injectors with bolt ons. Max out 360bhp on the best of days on a very easy dyno.
it’s not a complete stretch. my buddy has a mk5 with KO4 stock injectors and full bolt one and i t made like 375bhp, but it also depends on what software you run. because a off the shelf apr kit is gonna be dialed back from let’s say a pro tune.
I second this those injectors will be over 100% duty either way I bet it feels a bit flat. Regardless, it looks ace
Niki @ R tech has got 380bhp out of plenty of Edition 30's. Depends on how well the engines been looked after and also how it performs on the day.

depends on the company that does it, possible but really aggressive, i would not run it like this one is set up, would go rs4 injectors and Upgraded highpressure Pump

What on Earth is a 19 year old doing with a 400 horse power engined v w golf g.ti that’s crazy my god I bet the insurance companies love him. I think truthfully there should be cap on horse power for those are under 25. I am seriously say that. They do that with motor bikes when you take your bike test when you take that you do a two part test. I really feel the same should be for cars for the under 25’s

DSG is undoubtedly great from a performance stand point, but it makes the drive so uneventful. Still, mad car.

Great performance only on the upshifts
you have the DSG mapped with the engine, makes a massive difference. It doesn't make the changes any faster like he says in the video but it does let you adjust when it changes.
Facts... I own a MK5 R32 and I’ve only had it 4 months and am now getting rid of it for a few reasons, DSG is uneventful like you said also I don’t understand why VW made the ‘fart’ so crisp on the GTI and not their top model R32?!
It’s been great to tick a dream car off of the list but at the same time I wish I bought a skyline R32 instead 😂😩

Cupra MK2 is a better and cheaper option than the edition 30 golf, more power standard and bigger brakes already with easy mods and map to 380ish hp and it's also manual

My son has a stage 2 plus rtech edition 30 and i just cannot believe how fast it is. These cars can really embarrass expensive hot hatches..
I have a dsg edition 30 with r tech stage 2+ running 373bhp with proof on r techs rollers its an absolute animal ive had massive powered jap cars running higher bhp but there's just something about my eddy 30 that makes it feel so much faster than they were for some reason 😂 ill never part with it! it really does shock a lot of people who have never been in one or who own more expensive fast cars that can't keep up when having a little play! I.m.o owning or a ride in a tuned eddy 30 is something every petrol head should experience for themselves if they ever get the opportunity it really is 😊

To everyone asking how he insures it, before assuming non-declaration of mods it might be worth thinking about how many miles he does? I am absolutely shafted as I do 25,000 miles a year but still managed to insure a modified Fiesta ST for £1,400 with 2 yrs NCB so on a 5-8,000 mile policy I'd assume it's a reasonable price if he's in an A postcode like myself 👌

I had the mk5 pirelli edition, same mods except I used ttrs front brakes. They bolt straight on and are 370mm disks, needed!
Nice seats in the Pirelli edition. Pony wheels though

I have a completely stock MK5 GTI just the standard one (200bhp), not the edition 30 and managed 170mph (at a push) even with 105,000 miles on the clock, the pull in 6th gear even at 2000rpm is surprisingly effortless
Next time do it with a gps speedo as I can guarantee you didn't get anywhere near 170 😂

my stage 1 Pirelli edition is at 302 dyno just intake and exhaust but it won't go higher untill you start doing things like hpfp, injectors, coils, even then I wouldn't run a stock ko4 turbo at 400

They can’t put the power down effectively if you floor it, you need to modulate the throttle.
