Best sounding TFSI lump I have heard. Kudos to this guy, not my usual bag. I have always thought the mk5 Golf gti was bland especially coupled with a DSG box. But this is absolutely mega. Nice work 💪
The 2.0t fsi needs some stuff done to it for it to be reliable. The balance shaft delete, replace the timing chain and tensioner in the rear, replace the thermostat and a few other bits and bobs then you might have a reliable engine.
Kudos to the owner for his proper seating position. Most of the time they sit all the way back with stretched arms gabbing the bottom or top of the steering wheel with one hand.
Now I’ve finished the video… I’m glad I’m only going for 420 max due to this car not being able to be driven without spinning at silly speeds on and off throttle.
I really like the look of that centered exhaust. That would be so neat to do on my MK5. I've also been interested in a rear seat delete, but I'd like to separate the front cab for cooling and heating purposes. While the rear bracing is super cool, I wouldn't be willing to give up the functionality of the trunk for it, especially considering my car only makes stock BHP. I'm never going to need more bracing. It's a cool build and I commend Tunde for taking care of a car for that many miles.
Truth be told to be lucrative in investing, you need an expert to guide you so you don't make loses, most times it takes years to master this, so I've to work with Ms Charlotte Jones' one who is ready for positive ROI
Just goes to show...200,000 miles on the clock means nothing. If the timing belt, gear-box are sweet...you're good to continue if everything else is in good condition....
My mkv is a late 2008 2009upgrade. With 88,000kms from new. But the repairs wow. Bi xenon headlight washer pumps. Abs esc. Pcv. Costly stuff. No mods at all. Can't part with it. But I worry about digital dashes etc. New Mk8 is hard to get down under and really expensive. Oh well.
Yeah literally when it's "playfulness" causes him to lose control and take out the mummy on a school run.. Seriously I just thought this was f#kn stupid. Track days fine - but don't use it on the road like this when you are wrestling it the entire time
Absolute bellend driving like that on a public road and built up area. Other than that, nice amount of power in that thing. Take it on a track though mate. Generally people like living.
I’d watch more of this guys channel as he do some good content but i can’t handle that girly giggle & the laughing does my nut in had to stop watching long ago only here as it showed up on my feed
This was my car. Love of my life! Bought it at 108k miles, my little brother used it, then my dad, before the engine died. Shoutout to this dude!
Thanks bro… if you ever around reading area I can take for a spin in it 👍🏽👍🏽
Wish it had taken more care of it, the rust the damaged body parts :( i know cars are need to be driven, but taking care is also important imo.
Some great memories in that whip!
Wow that's amazing
How many miles did the engine shit out at?
My mans been using the kerbs to stop and slow down it looks like. 🤣
Think he’s going for the diamond cut look
😂😂😂
It's got that much torque steer, and playful it's caused every wheel to be curbed 😂🤣
Love this, last Dance selection. Respect
that TQ steer is insane
I love how "loved" this car is. Mine is in a similar state of daily driven blemishes, but handles too well and the turbo sings!
Rust on that fender, badly scuffed wheels and smoking like crazy 😆
And thats the best bit, ain't worried about the exterior the cars well out of its warranty so money spent on mechanicals rather than cosmetics.
and kirbed every rim, nice
That looks a lot of fun! It must eat front tyres!

That is a nice build but 500+ bhp out of a fwd is abit excessive
I’ve got a mk7 GTI stage 1 apr high torque w/ DSG tune, love it so far, shifts are super fast. Low mileage, enjoying every minute of it.

Love builds like this. Great video, cracking car driver!

Only drives it twice a week, and it looks like he hits a kerb every time he drives it!😂
most of the miles are added due to wheelspins... lol
Wow! Just wow! I've got a stage 1 golf mk5 and that feels fast to me, would be terrified in this monster.
Great build, awesome "sleeper" too, wouldn't even suspect it to have that kind of power at all! Quick question, has it not got an LSD fitted?
My mk5 gti has 180 000km and a stage 2. Keep em serviced and treat em sensibly and they're so much fun!

Does it have the original GTI 2.0 litre engine block?
Says at the start it’s a cupra k1 engine
@@rbrme yes but the engine block is the same between s3, gti, leon cupra
This is my goal for my mk5 GTI
What a legend
I have always liked the MK5. Great car...now just need to put some money into the body and paint👍
Nice kerbed alloys
Hi. Is it worth adding 420-460hp to a GTI Mk5? I have only stage 1 until 240hp. But.. i want downpipe TUV with catalatyst… and intercooler.
Yes and ko4 330bhp
What type of exhaust again because I need that. Did he say bsx exhaust?
I have a twin exit forsale
Got a 2015 GTE 213k right now accu still loads to 43/44
i want something like this also, nice car
Crazy man on budget coilovers with all that power 💀
Driven 👍
Insane 🔥
where did you get the billet rocker cover from?
Nice build dude, must be rapid once the wheels stop spinning😂
Love the fact that it was saved!
I would restore it and keep it. 👍
Needs better tires for sure 😂
I would love to get into the NFT market but it's expensive with the gas price alone, something could cost $18 but the gas could be over $400
1 week I've spent 1 eth on gas
That's why I'm only interested in crypto trading and i have been making massive profit since then
I want to get into the NFT market but i don't really know how it works, I think cryptocurrency is more better

what tires?
Wow what big air filter
Uses kerbs as lane assist I see

Need awd with so much power
That's a serious car 🔥🔥
mk5 is such a gorgeous car
Wats it cost to do something like this to it I'm only going stage 2 at the moment this is nuts
A lot of money, better get saving!
Power to weight must be crazy on this car
Who's the owner
So its not a 200k engine?

Everyone can slap a big turbo to a turbocharged car. But it's the block itself when it's not capable enough to handle the power.
Not relevant in this case, the block which is used in this build has been proven over 700bhp.
