  • I was challenged by my friends at the New Ball Python Keepers Facebook Group to create an enclosure usually only what I could find at a dollar or discount store near me. I was given the store Five Below, where everything is under Five dollars. (Except the bin, which was allowed to be bought elsewhere and I got next door at Aldi - a discount grocery store - for $16.
This was a lot of fun and I hope you enjoy watching it.
This is intended to be a temporary enclosure, not an example of best husbandry or a care guide for any snake. Please do more research for your snakes permanent home.

Well done! I'm in love with the little pots attached to the side! This is one thing I adore about using large tubs, the ability to randomly attach things to the sides with a drill bit or a soldering iron!

Yeah thank you! It only takes a little effort to really transform a tub. They make a great “canvas”

Nice job!! There are a lot of principles in here that people can use to improv on permanent enclosures as well.

Thank you, Paul! It can be easy and simple to provide the fundamentals.
