To reenter the U.S make sure you have the following: 1. Valid F-1 Visa located inside of your passport 2. Your most updated I-20 sheet with a travel signature (reach out to your Designated School Official to obtain one) Here is another source: isso.ucsf.edu/travel-check-list-f-1#:~:text=to%20the%20U.S.%3A-,Valid%20passport%20(must%20be%20valid%20for%20at%20least%20six%20months,1%20visa%20in%20your%20passport Good luck!
You can travel, once you receive your Advance Parole/reentry permit! If you do not have the necessary travel documents, leaving the U.S while your application is pending will abandon your case.
