My GC interview is cleared and will be issued Green card after few months when our i-485 is current but I need to urgently go to India due to dads emergency. In that case can I get emergency Advance parole?
Thanks for all the information! Its really helpful I have a question. I got my advance parole right after USCIS sent my husband (my petitioner) a RFE. We already submitted but Im wanting to go to my country. I overstayed my status for 10 months (I got married on the 4th month of overstayed but submitted but USCIS received documents on the 10th month, also I tries applying for another status (F1) right before my first status (J1) was about to end and I dropped the application because I was going to get married so I just decided to apply for the Green Card. Do you think this overstay period would be a reason to get my parole taken away while Im out of the country?
Hello Sir. I am married for 2 years but hadn’t filed petition until now and as I was in serious medical situation I travelled back to India. Will I get the parole if my husband who is a US citizen, files the petition now? Will I be able to enter US again safely?

The problem with AP is that is hard to get approved😔 my attorney suggested to apply for AP first so 130 would go smoothly (my spouse crossed the border) but his AP got rejected.
I am outside of US close to 11 months after I received my GC, but now i am not sure if I can reenter within a month due to my health reasons...what happens if i am outside for more than 1 year (with GC)? Also can I come over to apply for a advance parole only as i might need to be outside US for some more time.
Hi Jim, thank you for your great work, we love you very much. :) I have few questions please? I had divorced my first wife in 2015. I have filed i-130 for my second wife and I got remarried at 2016. My i-130 is approved and now my wife is going to attend her interview at U.S. embassy in Islamabad. I had an 50 rupee (Talaq) divorce stamp paper and I also got a Union Council issued divorce certificate from Pakistan for my first marriage. I didn't know that the Union Council's issued divorce certificate will be enough so I submitted both the rupee stamp paper and the Union Council issued divorce certificate to the USCIS and NVC. They approved both but some websites says the embassy will not accept the divorce rupee stamp paper. Will that be a problem for my wife immigrant visa case and interview? Should my wife only show the Union Council issued divorce certificate or show both of them? please let me know, thanks a lot.

why would they cancel advanced parole without a reason after granting it . That sounds unethical. what do you mean by "out of status for a long time". My wife came to the U.S. illegally in 2001 but we have been working non stop to get a green card for the past ten years. If I had known about i-131 I would have applied for it right after passing our marriage interview. the instructions say to handwrite "military PIP in part 2 instead of checking a box. Hello, I’ve got I 130 approved, but USCIS retained it and requested us to file I 824 due to reason that I didn’t indicate whether the beneficiary will apply for immigrant visa abroad or will apply for AOS. I filed the I 824 but the direct mailing address is totally confusing me , particularly the part where we should write on the mailing envelope (attn: NFB) , will appreciate your reply, thx

My wife was denied a green card i-601 because she admitted to fraud in entering the U.S, and they didn't believe the evidence that she was inspected ( a plane ticket stub) Her fraudulent passport was also stolen by the smuggler. There is no other evidence of inspection than her brothers eyewitness testimony, ticket stub and that someone matching the name she gave was inspected. If we get advance parole (military PIP) can we reapply for the green card? I hear Advanced parole forgives illegal entry. The judge granted "administrative closing " of her illegal presence. I also heard that advanced parole is only good for a year. How many times can we reapply?

Question: As a TPS holder (Temporary Protected Status), I requested an emergency advance payroll last year due to my father being diagnosed with cancer and needing multiple treatments. I was approved for the advance and traveled last year without any issues upon reentry to the US. I attempted to apply for another emergency advance, but I was informed that I am not allowed to do so and must instead mail the necessary documents to the office, which could take more than 8 months.
