When I saw people in that state I thought - man I won't ever be like that - and then few years after I was like that, stuff was addictive asf.

One problem with this scene is Heroin makes you're pupils smaller, and when you're withdrawing it makes them bigger!
The first few seconds your pupils dilate because of the dopamine but that's it. Mine would atleast.
