Thanks for the helpful tutorial. Just wondering though, on the side panels of that chair, you have applied the braid to more of a right angle at one point. What do you do to the braid to make it go around the acute angle? for example, do you fold it or tack it or snip it in some way or do you simply bend it into position?
Sorry for the late reply. You bend and fold it at the same time. Fix the braid to the corner with glue, then swing the braid round to create the angle you want. The glue should hold it all in place so there is no need to cut or tack it.

Hello, I would like to quickly ask you whether you think, I would be able to use a textile glue to apply the braid, instead of using a hot glue gun?
I'm sure it will work. I'm just not sure how long it will hold for as I've only ever used a glue gun.
Thankfully I still have my old glue gun and spare glue sticks but I was hoping I would be able to avoid it. Thanks for your advise!
