Thank you for actually listing how much you spent on the interior. Everybody is rebuilding these trucks and they always say "Budget build." But they never actually list their budget or say how much they are actually into the truck. Thank you for listing the interior cost. How much have you spent so far to make this truck so nice?
@@steelergirl1026 Easily North of 20k as everything starts to add up on these builds. And lets be honest, what everyone is hoping for is to be sponsored so your not paying anything out of pocket for some of these parts. But hey tell us that too. Let us know if anything was donated as sponsorship / marketing. Just so the average person can figure out how much a build like this is going to cost them.
@@motortopiaondemand I’ve enjoyed watching the build. I like everything you guys have done to this truck. The floor shifter isn’t my favorite but over all I love the truck. I have a 90’ OBS that needs an interior and the way this interior turned out gives me the punch list of parts to purchase. The colors are perfect and compliment the blue very well!
@@gtmotorsports937 Yea we have been questioning the floor shifter too lol. Thanks so much for the feedback. We were originally thinking about converting this truck to the silver interior but soooo glad we didn't lol.
My ocd ass would have basically 100% covered everything with the sound deadener 😮💨 throws me off to see just random pieces and sizes cut and just put wherever
I own a 95, retired show truck it has a swapped 350 97k original miles,5 spd. Someone paid big bucks along time ago. Double shorty shocks on the front, c notch rear, the bed has a dent where the diff hits...
I’d say no, not remotely worth it. I gutted the interior in my 88 and put in sound proofing everywhere. Next I found a truck at the dump with bucket seats and middle console for 100$. I had them refinished in leather for 300$. A few repairs made here and there and I have heated leather seats, all new speakers, touch screen GPS and all for less then 2k. But do you I guess
These trucks around my neighborhood are a dime a dozen , I have 4 of them And you put 5 grand in just the seats and carpet , The only words that come to my mind are Fool and Loser !

If only they'd answer your question? I know they paid a fuck ton for that ride tech coilover/ 4 link kit and the install!
I'd say they most likely have $20,000 in it total including the $3000 they paid for the truck. What do you think?

Upholestry looks really good but if you were to change the carpet from black to the chocolate brown that truck would look like a million bucks

Those 88-94 interior are great. I love my 1990 obs truck all it needs is a paint job

What seat series is sitting on that Bracket? Will that seat bracket fit a 1998 C2500 and a set of Gen II seats?
Looks good but...... im wondering where did the other 2k go.
Which seats are those from tmi
My ocd ass would have basically 100% covered everything with the sound deadener 😮💨 throws me off to see just random pieces and sizes cut and just put wherever
Same here but it looks like the directions say where to put each square.
Where u get the seats?
I’m looking a interior just like that. That looks very nice. How do the seats feel?
My obs has a Denali front seat apparently plugs right in. Are those electric, after market super awesome seats?
Not electric unfortunately

WhT type of seats are those??
What about the seat belts?
We haven't installed them yet but we will
How much were the seats n trim
I can answer the question without even watching the vid, the answer is "NO" nuff said!
The only thing I’d do to my truck is the seat and modernized entertainment center with digital tachometer that’s it test stay the original
you guys ever going to finish project rocky???
Yes finally getting the body back from paint this week. Updates coming!!
Where the seats from?
www.tmiproducts.com
How did you get that nicer darker brown dash?
its a dash overlay from Classic Industries dyed using SEM interior dye from Advanced Auto Parts. We forgot to add video of that part 🤦♂
What color dyes are these on the dash if you don’t mind me asking.
That's gota be good...
But the racer in me won't let me do it...
Lol comfort over control for me

What screen did you put in?
I agree! TMI seats are Grossly overpriced but people would rather spend that kind of money instead of doing a little DIY seat hunting.
You took the center console from a couch.
You bought all of those grey seat belts, head liner, etc interior pieces from LMC for nothing.
TMI seats are GROSSLY OVERPRICED! Practice some DIY and find seats that you like in another vehicles and fit those.
your lack of carefulness is irritating.
