I have similar seat covers in my opinion they look better if you remove the head rest. Beautiful truck ❤🛻
I agree they do look a lot better. But I’m planning on doing either a new bench seat like a 60/40 if I can find a clean one or just bucket seats.

What kind of paint sticks and works for the dash? My 88 has ruby interior, want to paint it all black :D
The brand a I went with is SEM color coat. It’s a flexible paint good for interiors and plastics. Also if you do, make sure to get the adhesion promoter to ensure good adhesion.
What size are the pillar speakers? I wanna have my replacements before i start taking stuff apart

Where did you guys find the armrest for the door panels at 7:40? Hard to find those oem 😭
On eBay they’re just new cheap eBay ones. The fitment is not the best, but not terrible and for the price cant complain. It’s better than not having them at all.
Are DS18’s the best truck speakers?
They’re good speakers, buts there’s always better out there.
Did you have any trouble with the power harness connection to the unit mine is so lose that any little movement messes with the speakers or it powers off . Did yours click in to place or is it also lose
No issues at all, clicked right into place and still working great.
What paint did you used to paint your dash ?
SEM color coat black or whatever color you like.

To connect the touchscreen do you need the wiring harness?
Yes and no, the stereo has its own harness that it comes with, and they sell a harness for the truck side and you wire the two together and they will plug into the truck without any cutting wires and your good to go. Or you can cut the factory plug of the truck and extend the wire and wire it up the stereo harness it’s just more work. First option is the easiest by just the harness.
