      Also I still have to learn how to start talking about a product then talk about 55 other things lose track of what I originally started talking about then ask the audience. What was I going on about? Then I should have your skills down Pat so watch out.😂😂🍻

    Hey steve great vid as usual.
    I have had on of these units for the past 6 months I love it. Agree with your first vid the travel buddy is great for when driving but you can't beet the air fryer once at camp much faster.

    Great video Steve.
    The problem with a 240V system is you will have top purchase an inverter and also need to have a Lithium battery that can handle the higher amperage. Found it very interesting that the 240V one switched off the heating element during it running.
    Stay tuned. I have a video coming out soon to talk about the 4L compared with a 4L Air fryer.

      Exactly mate that’s what I was saying unless you’ve got a really good 240 V system and a good battery. Something that can handle at least 100 amps continuous. You’re better off with a 12 V version. Looking forward to seeing your clip 👍

    Good video. One further step you could've taken would have been to use your wireless temp probe to measure the exact time each unit took to cook to a specific internall temp rather than just eye balling it as to whether they were cooked.
    But otherwise, a good comparison Steve.

      Yeah I do have a air fryer that has a temperature probe built-in into it but I just wanted to demonstrate the power usage more than anything they tasted cooked so it must’ve worked out alright cheers mate. Thanks for your support. Glad you enjoyed.

    K mart has good cheap 240v air fryers. We have the small one for the van and a bigger one for home. Brilliant bits of kit.

      @Sawadventures67  13 днів тому

      Yeah you can buy air fryers just about anywhere. The demo was more to do with the power usage of the 240 v against the 12 V version either one will do the job but the 240 will do it quicker and if you are running it off a 12 V system with an inverter Just make sure you have a good battery and a good inverter 👍

    Another great comparison Steve.
    Based on this comparison it looks like the 12v fryer used around 9ah to cook four Chicken Tenders and the 240v fryer used almost 11ah to cook three Chicken Tenders.
    Our last camp I cooked for 5 people.
    How many Chicken Tenders do you recon you can you cook at once in each fryer?

    • @Sawadventures67
      @Sawadventures67  13 днів тому +1

      Yeah like I said the 3 L one is only really good for one or two people. I could’ve probably put all the chicken tenders in either of them would’ve had to turn them halfway through I only separated them because I only bought one packet and I had to cook them up in both for the demonstration, but I think the 4 L version has a little bit more room one thing I have noticed most air fryers even 240 V ones. Don’t have a lot of room unless you buy a really big one but for one or two people the one I have is perfect for us.

      @Sawadventures67 Yeah your right, I was getting keen but I just don't think I could cook enough food for us all.

    Interesting, 1% different in battery time (including running the inverter) & they cooked in Half the time on 240v 🤠

    • @Sawadventures67
      @Sawadventures67  12 днів тому +1

      There’s no difference really in battery usage but the 240 V was pulling 1.1 kW of power from the battery unless you have a good battery system I would say go for the 12 V I have no problem. Running the 240 with my system.👍
