Been depressed bc of this Covid 19 pandemic Lost my job, been at home alone for 3 months, got no one to come home to bc i always been alone since both my parents died years ago, had to move out from my last rent house to find a cheaper one so i could live on. And today i only have $20 on my wallet I don't know what to do since no job available for me, maybe this is the worst in my life Last night i even dreamt about my father which rarely happens. I just hope people out there who is facing the same problem as mine to be well and strong I hope we can go back to be what we used to be

My mum had a heart attack a few days ago, my dad was seriously ill, and I've looked after my entire family while trying to keep up with school work in isolation as my GCSEs are next year. This song for a brief 3 minutes made me forget all that and be in a totally different place. The original Cold play version of this having just been released a month earlier, was playing when we came out of the hospital after my Dad died suddenly aged 65… . I remember thinking that I wish I could have fixed him… 😢 He was my life guide and its now 17 years and I still forget that he's not here and pick up the phone to call him. I love this version…

@@greg_216 I didn't listen to it in THAT context. I listened to (and read) the lyrics. My exhusband had suicidal and homicidal ideations. I tried to get him the help he needed. He chose to not take his medication or go for therapy. Music affects everyone differently. You say it's about helping a grieving wife. I hear a different story. I lost my mom 19/3 and my father on 16/4.Due to the pandemic,we were not able to be right there with them during their last days/hours.I was supposed to get married on 11/4 with my parents beside me.We had to postpone the wedding.But the passing of my dad left a huge hole in my heart.To hear you sing the song beautifully has managed to bring comfort to my heart.I know many hearts healed as well.TQ very much Mr Sam Smith/Coldplay.Much love.

This is the song that I performed and dedicated to my older brother who died from suicide. I sang it at 2 fundraisers I held for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention so it holds a special place in my heart.

I was posted in the ER. She came with a crumpled leg. Crush injury. Hypovolemic shock. It was 1am. I resuscitated her, stitched some of her wounds. She required immediate referral to a higher centre but her guardians/sons could not afford the cost and also were reluctant to take her. My friend and I were with her the entire night, ran with her, took her to CT scan and usg. There were no other internal injuries and we worked tirelessly until it was 6.30am in the morning. I was so exhausted and could feel the tell-tale signs of an upcoming migraine attack. I took rest for some time and again went to check on her an hour later. Soon my shift had ended. After one day, I came to know that she had been tested positive for COVID-19. Turns out that she was an abandoned homeless person and she was mentally unstable. But I swear, while I was treating her, not a single thought that she might be positive came to my mind. Only her life mattered. It was my 3rd time high rish exposure in 2 weeks. I gave my swab a few hours back today and will give my 2nd after 5 days. Doing extra bit for my patients is it really worth it?

My mum had a heart attack a few days ago, my dad was seriously ill, and I've looked after my entire family while trying to keep up with school work in isolation as my GCSEs are next year. This song for a brief 3 minutes made me forget all that and be in a totally different place. My grandma passed away last week and listening to this is so comforting. It's always my "go to" song when I'm down bc their voice is so soothing it gives me goosebumps.

I was posted in the ER. She came with a crumpled leg. Crush injury. Hypovolemic shock. It was 1am. I resuscitated her, stitched some of her wounds. She required immediate referral to a higher centre but her guardians/sons could not afford the cost and also were reluctant to take her. My friend and I were with her the entire night, ran with her, took her to CT scan and usg. There were no other internal injuries and we worked tirelessly until it was 6.30am in the morning. I was so exhausted and could feel the tell-tale signs of an upcoming migraine attack. I took rest for some time and again went to check on her an hour later. Soon my shift had ended.
After one day, I came to know that she had been tested positive for COVID-19. Turns out that she was an abandoned homeless person and she was mentally unstable. But I swear, while I was treating her, not a single thought that she might be positive came to my mind. Only her life mattered.
It was my 3rd time high rish exposure in 2 weeks. I gave my swab a few hours back today and will give my 2nd after 5 days.
Doing extra bit for my patients is it really worth it?
