I love how there's such a diverse list of names... BUT THEN THERE'S KNEE.
But for real, Knee's Tekken is just unreal, he might not be the best on all characters, but he is good enough to bring them out at any moment and most likely win, it's insane.
Knee will switch to the main of a character loyalist and beat them in tournament with their own character lol
Knee in long sets wins 90% of the time in mirror matches using the other guy's mains. I've seen so many of his mirror matches against the so-called top character players. They all tend to lose to Knee.
@@Section8dc Ulsan match is exhibition. Knee lost against jdcr in mirror AK.
@@ojsojs6004 can't win em all lol, and I love JDCR so that makes me happy to hear!
@@Section8dc jdcr recently is trying Feng and he looks good with it

Lil Majin with King, was DEFINITELY a heck of a run. It’s fun to watch his live streams and UA-cam videos now, and you can tell when he’s being casual or serious with an opponent.
Bro fr played when he had free time and was still that good
@@yusufrahman2294 For real man. That's the most impressive part about his run in EVO. He was on vacation with his girlfriend. Korean players have to no-life Tekken to get to the point they're at. I'm not saying Majin hasn't got plenty of experience himself, but to beat a player like JDCR, who stands at the top of a scene as hyper-competitive and populated as the Korean Tekken scene, it requires insane talent.

Best Tekken comment
I'm just a die hard fan of quality Tekken. speaking of, here's another pro tip. if you want 1080p 60fps videos in your search results, add ", 1080p60" as a suffix to whoever you wanna watch. e.g.
"yeonarang tekken, 1080p60"
thank me later 😎👍
Jimmy definitely got Bryan on lock. When they Knee and Jimmy fought and Knee won, Knee said that Jimmy had a better taunt jet upper and he learned a new combo during the match from jimmy.
Old player, Knee has the best Bryan
There is also Bilal
No the real scientist of Bryan, is Mutli, by far. He knows every single pixel of the character.
Today for me Atif Butt has the best Bryan.
Yeah it’s gonna be Multi or Jimmy
One Word Answer :- Knee
Jdcr claps him ez in an ft 10
Sorry but Majin takes king by far
@@marioster2 Puma I think has better movement and punishment but Majin is a specialist
@@marioster2 MBC is amazing too. Idk why he doesn't compete much, but I'd bet he'd give Majin a very good fight.
@Jelly Punk don't forget BrawlPro. He's probably a tier 2 King player, not on par with the top dogs, but his King is very respectable.
Wow mainman I've searched this video title many times as a new tekken player and wondered why no one had made a video discussing the topic. I was very close to commenting a few times asking if you or some other creators could make a video like this, so thank you very much!
Qudans legendary comeback after all his IRL issues in to winning the entire tournament against Saint will never get old. He is the DJ
I love that there is such a diverse list of names in the Tekken community. All of these names I recognize and have fond memories of their past matches.
I think AK should be a notable choice for Shaheen. He's the only Shaheen player who's gotten far in every evo tournament he's in. So I think he should be recognized
I think Ao would be the best Kuni. He just put so much into labbing and optimizing her and makes some noise in Japan.
I always look for Ao in Asian tournaments or EVO, he's not sponsored but he's an absolute killer and can run through brackets faster than most international players
Thats what i was expecting but then he said no one lol
I mean he said channel but AO beat channel multiple times in the mirror
Chanel aswell
I main Kunimitsu because of AO’s Kuni mirror matches with Chanel. All I knew before this was that AO was a good Alisa player, and I just love his play style. It’s like an combination of patience and creativity. I also think B has a good Kuni, and Chanel is good too. AO’s Alisa is also as good as Chanel’s, at least they are at the same level.
I believe GM holds the record for most Tekken tournaments won. I think mainly with Lee.
Exclusively Lee except T7 when he played some Geese
Pekos is worth a mention for Geese, he doesn't get brought up too much but he's been doing well for a while, won a Japanese TWT event last weekend
Yeonarang is indeed the best Hwo player nowadays, but the best Hwo player *ever* is Asellas. Too bad he doesn't play the game anymore, the guy was a beast with Hwo.
Very unique playstyle, using Hwo tools very creatively and in an efficient manner, he could use more than d3,4. Very different from the playstyle of the players mentioned on the video.
He also had a very good Lili and Jin. His Lili has taken down other legendary players and their signature characters, like onlypractice's Nina. And his Jin, eyemusician's Yoshi, so...
Asellas wasn't just a Hwo god, he was a very, very solid and top notch Tekken player.
I hope he's doing well and kicking.
I mean you could say that but Yeonarang has 3 hours of footage of fighting Asellas and he won the majority of the matches....the first 11 matches were Yeonarang 10 - Asellas 1....
MadDogJin if you really like to look back.
@@niardla still streams as well
How is Yeon the best? Because he won an online icfc lol
@@niardla way back, didn't knee say maddogjin was the best player at tekken? Basically saying he could beat anyone with mokujin.
Nobi is the best Dragunov player that even JDCR wants to watch him play Drag again.
People keep talking about Knee, but there is a tricky part. I mean, JDCR for example, picks Dragunov and plays the character the way that should be done. Now Knee picks a character and adapt it to his own play style, and only explore the moves whats he believes that could give him advantage.
Obviously if Knee find an especific character for tournaments, he keeps playing for a while to get proper performance.
personally i think there can be multiple best players. People are so obsessed with whoever the “best” is but the fact the theres people who trained them or really great candidates that you’ve never heard of that go unnoticed, it hard to determine who that is. Theres some cold ass players that don’t really compete or show up at scenes. Theres also players who do certain move sets differently or have a completely different style with each character that separates their playstyles from other “top players” but it adds a unique depth to the game knowing that you can play different ways with different characters.
I think best Lei is kelthu from Korea, super strong and unique player with a phenomenal Hwoarang too
Nah the best Lei in korea is Jokre. In terms of hwoarang, yeonarang destroyed kelthu in a mirror match so...
See Ahsan Ali from Pak. Always top5
@@virtuoso-in4mc mirror matches are kinda different tho
@@DEANDRE_DTS yeah but like I said, he destroyed kelthu in the mirror match. Better fundamentals, movement, mixups, and overall a less predictable utilization of hwoarang's toolkit. I would agree with what you said if you were talking about Rest though. He lost the mirror match but has a super creative playstyle with crazy combos
What you said about Marduk could also be applied to Julia. IMO mikio brings out the most in Julia. He’s a top 10 Japanese player IMO maybe top 5
Outside of LMG Mob, I can't think of anyone else who plays Lars competitively.
There's holeman he was super good back in t6 and ttt2
Doujin?
Doujin , KaizokuLars
Locomotive from US
Big Majin never entered any tourney?
Nice topic. Kinda weird no one has talked about this.
AK from the Philippines has to be one of the top 2 Shaheen players in the world.
About Lee, I would say Lmyourfather is the best Lee player rn after placing 17th in Evo. Besides, FightingGM has probably retired now. In addition, FightingGM participated in more tourneys than Lmyourfather so it isn't really fair to compare GM's past tourney achievements vs Father, as Father competed rarely in tourneys even in Korea
eyemusican's second main is kuni and we all know how insane eyemusican is, so for kuni i'd say eyemusican
Ao for Kunimitsu
Ao is the best Kuni
AO best Kuni
Not true. Eyemusican's secondary is Alisa. He also plays Leo moreso than Kuni
Hahahaha TMM talking french is so funny "la côte d'ivoire" really apreciated it
For Jin, it's difficult to pin down who's the best due to how they all play different styles.
Within those styles you also have differences in their movement; there's stance cancelling, flicker, wavu-wavu, silly snake movement, etc.
Aside from those you either have counter hit specialists, parry gods or whiff punishers, at least a combination of those.
And within those there are who play very clean and safe or crazy and risky, or anything in between.
CBM
@@straightlead8 CBM is too safe w Jin
I think my top Lei players are Ahsan Ali, Akon, AllTimeZZZ, Suiken, and Bilal Kaka. I would struggle to order them, but those players have majorly helped me learn the character. Also shout out to PepperBeef2Spicy for a great tutorial on Lei, but I've not seen many actual games
Ahsan Ali and AllTimeZZZ are the best imo
Multi should be mentioned as well. One of the best Bryan in the world, lot of complex execution of this character are his staples.. just watch his highlights in his yt channel.
Exactly he is insane with Bryan but need to make somes tournament.
He's a combo master but his fundamentals are lacking and he lost mirrors against Knee and Jimmy
Ikr , his highlights should be popular, he's really skilled and insane
Atif butt and Bilal are also worth mentioning bryan players ...
Knee plays so many characters that you have to mention him because he uses them to counterpick his opponent .
Man I miss Jimmy. Seeing his matches was always so hype!
Shoutout to the Lee Chaolan segment!! An honest man 🔥
Oh, no worries, TMM, your long time viewers know full well who The Emperor is 😄
I feel like I waited my whole life for this video, and never even knew it
I think for many people can argue but for me one's for sure;
Qudans - D Jin
No one argues here
Qudans isnt active anymore. So I doubt he''s the best with the character anymore.
JDCR - Heihachi. Although he mostly uses him to smurf in lower brackets of tournaments now lol
Doujin does well with DVJ too but Qudans is just a different breed. Knee and Qudans could be argued but I think Knee is the best DJ so far.
@@victoralvarez9459 Yeah I know, sorry, I meant to say that he's my all time favourite 😀
Main man is sleeping on princess ling, on putting ling xiaou on the map. Even before cuddle core, p ling showed the xters viability in tag 2, Tekken six and Tekken 7 earlier seasons. He isn't active these days but certainly deserves a shoutout
i was scared u werent gonna mention Devilster for jin, also ryuk leonidas too.
Most optimal Jin is Devilster and when he gets a sponsor team he will definitely do bits. And for Devil Jin Qudans is clear by miles than knee. The only reason Devil Jin got nerfed was because Qudans showed how much potential the character had and how ridiculous it was.
Sodam is the father of Ling Xiaoyu ❤️ He legit created Xiaoyu Sodam Petun!
Trueee, he's very well known to Xiaoyu players, but I guess Mainman doesn't know a thing about him. He's a certified Xiaoyu hater 😂
He is, and embodied my Xiaoyu watching him. As "best" Xiaoyu, I'd have a different thought tho. yOReDz and Nejima Kidori. yOReDz has extremely fluid set ups, and Kidori has one of the most solid Xiaoyus I have ever seen. There is Wecka, Irtaza Pasha, imo Cuddle is more known as a better Alisa than Xiao... UYU as of now, there are better Xiaoyus than hers. They are all amazing players tho not taking that away from them! Just the word "best" is a bit sensistive.
@@zangana3052 the most aggressive Xiaoyu is Tanukana San
I am surprised he didn't mention Sodam, Tanukana and Mr Croft
I love the Unreal Tournament/Deus Ex music in the background.
Miguel = glaciating. Very strong player with relentless pressure with miguel
Sephiblack is the best glaciating is good too but sephi is best.
NOW YOU CAN SAY ARSLAN ASH FOR KUNIMITSU
Dragnov is Noboi number 1. He was playing that character since tekken 6 or even before.
When law comes up only two law players are worth mentioning who got strong fundamentals and win ratio. Malgu aka nameless king and double.
I think youjinboy should be mentioned for gigas! I loved seeing him play gigas..
Ryan Hart should be an honourable mention while talking about Kazuya
Alisa - Chanel
Bryan - Knee (JimmyJ really close 2nd, Bilal could be too)
King - Majin (MBC really close 2nd)
Heihachi - JDCR
Armor King - JDCR
Devil Jin - Qudans
Jin - Book
Dragunov - tie between JDCR and Nobi
Jack - Anakin (if Saint was still placing as well as he did before, he would be the Jack GOAT no contest)
Paul - Knee (Anakin a pretty close 2nd)
Ganryu - Saint

No mention on Nobi san Dragunov? Damn that's a bit disrespectful seeing he beat Jdcr in a mirror match.
Nobi wasnt mentioned for Dragonov, Big Majin wasnt mentioned for Lars, Saint WON and DOMINATED with Jack 7
One Heihachi player from pakistan that has interesting setups and crazy execution is Aqeel Zahoor, he plays a lot against devilster. He doesnt do competitions unfortunately, although he said "soon"...

Bruh, the legendary set between Knee and JDCR playing Feng vs Dragunov should have put Feng on the map.
Drag should be Nobi. & Heera is definitely #1 Steve but Taisei from Japan is worth mentioning too.
Problem with Heera is he has poor performances and loses to some unknowns whenever he plays internationally. When he plays Pakistani top players, he's also losing and winning inconsistently. He's only the best Steve player when it comes to utilizing the move sets and Steve mirror matches. But Heera's either 1st or 2nd in the world imo. It's just he's not solidly proven against random/unknown matchups/players.
I think Knee would probably still be #1 for me before the df+2 nerf but Heera for sure now since Knee has kinda dropped him.
@@Viewer13128 Steve is an extremely inconsistent character due to an absurd amount of horrible match ups, plus Heera doesn't have so much experience outside of Pakistan, but in terms of Steve Fox he's definitely Number 1.
@@WeMissDimebag Knee did use Steve recently against Gen in Tournament though, but true that Steve isn't his main. His current Steve is still much better than his 2019-2020 Steve though.

Nobi's Dragunov is intense.
When in doubt, it's probably Knee lol.
Book. He's the only one who beat up Knee with a Jin. No one dares pick Jin against Knee.
FightingGM is a great Lee, make no mistake and imyourfather is the dad to all of us Lee players, but I dunno if MainMan hasn't seen or heard of him potentially, but ChrishinTheLee is the best Lee in NA and has beaten GM in the mirror as well.
nah I would still give it to gm. chrishin beat gm in one set, but gm plays so many sets with so many top players, wins most of them and has consistently placed well in tournaments whenever he's participated. We haven't seen that from chrishin yet. He's still amazing no doubt, but he needs to participate and win more to get that title.
@@samiambl917 Chrishin is unable to compete cause he's a student rn, but there are plenty of clips of him facing high end talent, like Anakin, like Kaizur, like Chenzho, like Racoon. I'm not surprised MainDad would put GM on here because of he has more presence and make no mistake GM is one of the 3 best Lee's period, but Chrishin to me is just the better Lee, but make no mistake the differences are maybe just 1 or 2 points off of each other.
Father was 17th in evo recently. I think he's still likely the bet Lee today
@@IndieSmack again, it's more about who's done the most with lee at the highest of stages and who represents him more. Gm has been playing lee since tekken 5. Has won a lot of majors in tekken 6, tag 2 and tekken 7. He's beaten arslan in an ft10 set, has beaten joey fury, beats racoon casually every other day lol. He beat anakin grand finals in a major for tag 2. Took qudans to the final round in the grand final at ECT 2019. There are too many instances.
I'm assuming Chrishin has faced the people you mention in online sets. I'm pretty sure anakin himself would say winning offline matters more than online.
I understand that chrishin can't compete rn and I'm not denying that if he were to compete, he could prove himself to be the best lee by winning, but the point is we haven't seen that yet.
As of now and historically, GM is the best lee.
So far no one has done as well in the pro circuit with Lee as Fighting GM has.
Several tips, that Mainman doesn't know:
5:00 - Truly, Akon from Ivory Coast has the best Lei movement in the world and is fun to watch, but he doesn't play fundamental, best fundamental Lei in the world is Korean player Jokre 족레. Jokre would beat Akon in a long set for sure. Jokre is the best Lei now.
11:19 - best Law of Europe is Dritonrama, best Law in the world is Malgu (Nameless King)
23:13 - Pokchop's Josie is a total trash, as he is. Best Josie in the world is Srasoni (Korean)
23:51 - Best Katarina in the world is Galgonge 갈공이 (Korean)

@@muhtadaali8847 go check his channel out. Also keep in mind no Paul staples that. I’ve never seen a Paul even attempt that in tournament to this day to include justice.
@@G-R-IE-IE-D justice staples them like its nothing. And he does not play in tourneys
@@muhtadaali8847 lol Justice plays in like every ATL tournament, 3 Team and duo tournament what are talking about lol. If you need links let me know lol cuz that’s absolutely not true.
@@G-R-IE-IE-D sorry forgot to mention atl. Yeah seen him couple of times. Underwhelming performance. Because he is very aggressive. But for me he is the best paul. Knee plays defensive
The moment you saw the video you thought lil majin = king
It’s not fair with kazuya
Boa + choksai + keiska +
nene +knee
there is lots of rang of kazuya players u forget to name them
And it’s extremely hard to say the one name
I kinda agree, but Knee is objectively the best (when he actually picks him lol).
Another great Kuma player that should have gotten mentioned imho: Master of the Salmon
I agree that Saint is the best Ganryu and JDCR is the best Armor King. That match they had as the echofox rematch was beautiful.
But when it comes to Master Raven, I would argue Tissuemon as well.
Shaheen has a lot of arguments here. Lowhigh, Gen, and you forgot AK.
You can argue Saint with Jak.
Yea, Bryan is definitely JimmyJTran. Jimmy gets the most out of the character.
Josie would be Blackbeaed for me.
Because Qudans is the greatest player of all time in Tekken, I have to give him D.Jin. it's just his character now.
That’s a good list, only thing I would contest probably is dvj = knee. Qudans is amazing with the character but Knee recently has shown that Dvj is a force to be reckoned with.
Mohsin Shooter is an excellent Lee player as well. Somehow nobody mentions him
2:35 ignoring Knee and TheJohn and focusing on defining who is better at x character, I would say priority is winning consistently, not maximizing move list. This is because maximizing move list is more like #1 creative player. Fundamentals and skill should not be excluded in the equation. The best player does not have to use the whole move list.
Example: Who is the better basketball player, Michael Jordan or The Professor. The Professor knows way more tricks and can also perform all standard shots, but Michael Jordan will consistently beat everyone compared to The Professor. Even though The Professor has squeezed out almost every trick, the better player is the one who is consistently winning 99% of other players. In fact, I'd say even if Player A wins in a mirror match, but can't win consistently against random matchups and can't progress to finals in international tournaments, while Player B can use that character and consistently go to finals, I'd say Player B is the better player even though Player A is better in mirror match.
As mentioned, The Professor uses every move list, but he's far from the best player, but you can call him the #1 creative player. Michael Jordan is clearly the better player even if you only limit Michael to 5 moves he'd still beat the professor.
Back in the TTT 2 days, Woorusa and Hankuma were the best Panda/Kuma players.
Saint jack, mbc king should be mention, help me has a strong lee lars paul law in ttt2 era. Only pratice Nina lars Leo. There are a lot of koreans players in old era the were nuts. Like light with hei/dvj. Abel del maestro with capos should be mention i think and just frame james with law/yoshi
Now u know when u said Kazuya you felt a vibration In your Soul !!!!!
CBM has the best Jin in the world by far. For devil jin it ranks as follows based on recent online 1 on 1 matches:
1. Knee
2. CBM
3. LowHigh
4. Kkokoma
5. Qudans
@OfficialJesseMcQuilkin Smh, books jin is no where near as good as CBM's lool.
@@46wayne8 didnt cbm say that book is better
@@johnnwith2ns464 lool i've never heard him say that.
@@46wayne8 probs cuz u dont know what ur talking abt loll
@@johnnwith2ns464 This must have been years ago. The CBM of todays' jin is untouchable. I've been watching his personal streams and competitavely. He smashed JDCR in recent competitions with jin and noctis and smashed Qudans Devil jin with Jin in online battles (even if qudans has stagnated/gotten worse now).

@@jamessummers5936 His list, not mine. I agree though.
I'm fkn amazed that you as a Kazuya main don't even bother to mention Crazydongpal while fully knowing of him and his capabilities as a Kazuya player.. Not only is he still playing while Choksae doesn't but he's imo THE best Kazuya with his crazy creativity and control.. He was Choksaes mentor and it fkn shows so put some respect on it ffs! Embarrassing....
Good points. CDP without a doubt the most creative Kazuya player.
Does he even play in tournaments
After Dawood's perfect run at TGU 2022 where he beat Knee twice with Alisa, he definitely deserves a mention there among the best Alisa players in the world. Crazy how much talent Pakistan has been hiding from the global Tekken community. Hope we see his Alisa in more international events soon
This stream video probably was too early ...dawood is no doubt the beat alsoa player now followed bu cuddle core
nah
Doujin!!! Philippines represent, that kid is a prodigy here! so young yet have reached world class levels
Also AK Shaheen main ... Can't believe tmm didn't mention him
