For the Russ stat, you also have to consider what they are calling assists nowadays. Back in the day, an assist was supposed to be a past to one triple max layup. Now they are considering assists as 3-4 dribbles and a floater/layup. Players are making their own plays off passes and they are still counting assists. Therefore making it was easier to get assists nowadays.
My issue with this one is that Wilt had more rebounds and blocks than Russell. As evident by this very video. And he lapped Russell in scoring. How many of those defensive titles had Wilt as runner up? And how many of those scoring titles had Russell as the runner up? Long story short. Russell might have been better on defense. But it wasn't by much. I don't think you can say the same the other way around.

@@lobby_boy5382 yeah, I get mad when people disrespect the OGs saying it was easy back then. When one is so clearly much above than anybody else, it's pretty obvious he had a gift. Soccer fans also do that to Pelé, but who did the same as him back then in equal conditions?
@@RafitoOoO exactly and that's why I rank people by era. Like who was most dominant in there era. Because they were the best at the time and ahead of everyone else.
One of the greatest vids ever ❤
I watch your videos and I don’t even watch basketball 😆
Imagine not watching basketball 😒 Jk lol but that’s cool
Damn
@@pranith850 Im from europe so i prefer football, or like u say in america "soccer" xd But these videos are so good
@@xthemugshot Oh nice 👍🏽
how do you find these videos interesting without actually watching the sport? do you know who these players are? do you understand what all the stats mean? not hating, just genuinely curious.
The random Lebron stats where he seperates himself from all other players by a large margin are unfathomable ... SHEEEEESH
@@st181036 its still crazy
@@st181036 there's a stat that Lebron, is King already, and that is Turnovers.
@@zinjgreen3398 Keep this in the drafts next time.
Lebron has the most turnovers in nba history
@@st181036 doubt it
I can't get enough of your videos. Thanks for doing this
The MJ & LeBron photo would be one of the rarest photos in NBA history
I still believe the greatest photo in NBA history is MJ & Kobe being next to eachother during a game. If you watch the video of behind that picture, it’s MJ telling Kobe everything he needs to know and how to be great.
When the video starts with a chart, you know it’s going to be a banger
anyone come back and watch this video in 2023 and realise austin reaves was still in college two years ago, and unironically compared to the thunder?
what about PJ Washington's 44 minutes of cardio on a basketball court
And now Evan Forniers 32 lmao
lmao
Joel Anthony has joined in the chat
Yeeesssirr I love this man's vids he is so underrated
Get him his recognition🔥🙌
I don’t know how you get all of these stats, but sharing all of them makes the videos so good, and I am just loving the content. Keep it up man
You know it's a banger when jimmy hits you with a chart right away
Stockton has become so underrated
This has to be the best NBA Channel on UA-cam.
Jxmmy should be a math teacher he’s the only entertaining person that does math my brain can’t process any of this 😭😂
Imagine him as a PE teacher shit is gonna be a movie
Ikr
Gym teacher Jimmy would just keep stats of the pick up games and display em to the class later
Zion is criminally underrated right now
He’ll get better. His scoring efficiency is great, but one dimensional. Forces his team to play a certain way that doesn’t matchup well in today’s game. He’s also lost on team defense all the time but that’ll improve.
Aged like milk
Jxmy is the only youtuber where i could press like on the video before even watching it 💯
haven’t watched it yet but already know it’s a banger yessir
just started and i know there’s gonna be 7 charts
Awesome video really makes you think about certain players when you dig in so deep and Unearthed amazing facts
00:25 'Well, here's a chart...'
Me: Ooooh that's gonna be a good one
Elgin Baylor did a euro in the 1960’s. Revolutionary man.
Hell yeah, that tripped me out
Congrats on 1.69 million subscribers!
The Wilt one is by far the most impressive one this video
nah lebron
Mr. Russell
Let’s go jxmmy posts a vid I click
Your statistical knowledge of the game is phenomenal..great job💯
random video titles i'd like to see.... "how good was John Stockton really?" "the butterfly effect of MJ had on superstars careers" "worst trades ever and how they effected those teams"
"what could have been"
Saw the title and knew it would be a classic
Let’s match
Hell yeah dude
I love this channel. Always giving out fascinating sports facts. Keep up the good work, mah boy!
I just wanna congratulate Greg on scoring 1200 career NBA points cause most people in the world have never done this before
never clicked so fast
Ok
That "good job Greg" sounded really sarcastic and really respectful at the same time.
"May Just Blow Your Mind"
*Currently scooping my brain off the floor after it turned to Jell-O and leaked out of my ears*
This just shows how underappreciated and underrated LeBron really is
@2real4usnoflakez jordan is great and all, but he's no greg kite.
Underrated? Lmao
How can he be underrated or under appreciated when he is in the discussion of the Goat?
As someone who fell in love with basketball during the warriors 2014 run and a Shawn Livingston fan , that statement at 3:16 kinda hurt “for those of y’all un familiar “ MAN IS A CHAMP😢sorry for the rant I LOVE YOUR CONTENT JIMMY
me thinking wheres lebron then sees him up top
*drinks water with a smile*
R.I.P. Elgin Baylor
He deserved more respect in his NBA career
Bro, I really loved this content. I must admit that you are the MCU @Marvel of UA-cam basketball. That means, quality content equals off the chart productivity. Keep up the good work.
I believe the Wilt stat line , the man was an anomaly of an athlete.
There’s a chart one minute in, gotta love Jxmy
This is why I f’n love your channel.
Greg stayed in the league that whole time tho...props to him
The most surprising fact of this video is that Kobe played more seasons than Karl Malone.
how is that surprising
@@zarvix4719, I always believed Malone played a lot longer than Kobe.
Same, I legit thought that Malone played like 24 seasons
@MARVIN PETION stfu
@@sheyarjames4904 well kobe was 17 years 10 months old in the 1996 nba draft while karl malone is 21 years 11 months old in the 1985 nba draft
Bro I’ve been following you for so many years since you had trap has as your background music and I love your videos you taught me so much about the game itself and introduced me to players And stats never knew about
5:35 Wilt could have been the best scorer for every season he played. He was just tired of it decided to get assists. (He led the league in assist)
Facts
When Jimmy shows a chart u already know that the person who is at the top isn’t really at the top 😂
Best hoop channel on the tube👏
For the Russ stat, you also have to consider what they are calling assists nowadays. Back in the day, an assist was supposed to be a past to one triple max layup. Now they are considering assists as 3-4 dribbles and a floater/layup. Players are making their own plays off passes and they are still counting assists. Therefore making it was easier to get assists nowadays.
This man JMXY never misses on a vid it’s just factual
@Braylon Flowers ayy bro I really appreciate it ✊🏾
Awesome video bro! I love videos like this!
"bill has more defensive titles than wilt has scoring titles"- my mind: 💥🤯💥
that right
My issue with this one is that Wilt had more rebounds and blocks than Russell.
Greg kite on average scored .39 points per game.... legend
He scored 1205 more in the NBA than I have.
"Good job Greg" lmao!!! 😂😂😂
6:55 RIP to Elgin Baylor, one of the greatest Lakers superstar. 🙏
