Loved your Blog for Tulum, great video, it seems we have done similar things as you've showed in your other Mexican Blog vids.
We stayed on the Beach in a secluded part of Tulum, it was amazing, the accommodation was basic, but being directly on the beach which we virtually had to ourselves was just surreal, at night time you could see the milky way, absolutely amazing. We live in Somerset and have 'Dark Skies' but this was at another level. So for us its the Beach location, although we have stayed on the complexes, again its what you want from your holidays.
We got up at 04:00 am to see the turtles emerging from there nests, one of which was directly under our beach hut, its one of our favourite memorable holidays, many locals had buckets ang were and they gave us some buckets and we joined them helping the stray turtles find there way back to the shore as some were headed up the beach.
We've now been back to Cancun three times, I was lucky enough to do my first cenote's cave scuba dive, a bit expensive, but wow what a memorable dive, as you say, you have to have a guide who knows where to go and what are the best locations to see for the dive and snorkelling. Then we did the Cenote's snorkelling trips as my wife Deborah doesn't like scuba diving, but she loves to snorkel, again, wow wow all the marine life and we were also lucky enough to see several turtles. We also did a scuba dive and snorkel off the coast near Cozumel with the Whale sharks and Mantas, again something we would highly recommend. We were last there in September 2019 for a few weeks and it's again at the top of our list of places to go back again to explore more.

Hi Naomi, thanks so much for watching and for your comment! There are a few treehouses behind a bar called “I Scream Bar”. I think if you search for “I Scream House” you should find them. If not, there’s a link to the one we stayed in in the description. Hope you have an amazing time! 😊
