Thanks for part2. I did not know that he and Bimbo were so close because on past one he said that he and Bimbo applied for their jockeys license the same time. It’s very sad how violence caused so many people to leave Jamaica. I saw Hosang here at Calder and Golfstream and he did very well, the very first time they ran a 2 mile race at Calder it was won by Hosang on a horse and Zio, he took the lead and was never herded. It was rumored that Canadian based jockey name Dave Penna has to leave Canada because Hosang dominated, the story seems to be true because Dave Penna did not go back to Canada 🍁 until Hosand left.
U miss di big question remember in a next di 2 horse buck back again an Hosang ride milligram an fanna ride vicroy an Hosang still beat him i wanted u to ask him dat
That Superstakes was indeed a BRILLIANT ride by Hosang....but in my view the better horse won on that day!! Though Viceroy was aging, he was a better and more gutsy horse than Milligram....Both horse were genuine middle distance horses...but Viceroy was a little bit more gutsy. The history of their careers prove that!!What's the name of that race...where Viceroy and Milligram switched riders a few weeks later and Milligram won??... Trying to remember that event!
Is not only in jamaica Puerto Ricans jockeys migrated by the hundreds the jockey school our of a graduation of 20 jockey 8 will leave the island is. Sad it comes down to purses in PR average purses are. Very low between 3 thousands for a 4000 claiming in usthe same will paid 10 thousands. O brainier.
