what Pete does and always has with his guitar is fill it with emotion...i have seen many bands live...including Iron Maiden many times...and although they play amazing guitar work...Pete's guitar always sounds packed with emotion....like it's speaking..the same as Jimi Hendrix,Alvin Lee,Richie Havens....it's not about how fast you can move your fingers up and down the neck..it's about raw emotion, feeling and power...and in that Pete wins every single bloody time.....
PETE is a complete and perfect GENIUS. He is so complicated and a overthinker but can control what he lets loose for the rest of us. He is a perfect example of the working mans musician and it comes natural to him. THE words and music and the arrangement is literally one of a kind. This world will never have another PETE TOWNSEND again. Celebrate. Teach. LISTEN . Learn from this man. i cannot say enough about him. THANK YOU MR TOWNSEND> I GOT IT.
+Chris Neufeld Came here to say this. And I don't even think the notes are wrong, just that the tuning is fractionally off. Either way, it's one of the best solos I've ever heard by anyone. Pete was at a real guitar high point in the 90's and 00's.
So you came here to feel big by making fun of someone's opinion on a subjective matter? It's an incredibly melodically and technologically impressive and inventive solo. I think that's a good basis for an opinion.
Nagyon nagy kár, hogy ilyen siralmas minőségben van fenn, nekem megvan gyári DVD-én 5 perc 7 másodpercnél akkorát szól Pete gitárja, mintha ágyúval lőnének!

Pete is an absolu genius with immense heart ❤️
4:19 to 5:28 - Probably one of Pete Townshend's best guitar solos. Despite a sour note or two, he delivers here.
