- Part 134 of L&L 79-80 playlist. 1980. Luke and Laura "stuck" down in the cabin. Claudia and Brian show up on the scene in the bridal shop parking lot. Laura starts to get panicky.

Luke is just irresistible! I've shown millennials this episode and next, and told them the story, and they don't get it. You really do have to watch it from the start to understand. But WOW does he bring the heat! His gaze is just mesmerizing. You have to love a gazer, lol.
Such chemistry between TG and GF. He once called her his acting soulmate. They have such a connection.

I'm about to combust watching Luke dancing with Laura to Herb Alpert! LOL
the music; when this particular Herb Alpert song comes on notice how the volume turns up. Made this one almost as famous as "Rise"........I was 10 when this story started, and I watched every bit of it (raced home from school). And then Soapnet had this special, but I missed it all. Thanks to Sussezq (VERY MUCH SO!!! OX), we can re-live it. And I remembered details that happened.....and then to see them again on here was (IS) mind blowing. Ok my point is lol, I'm all over the place, that growing up and even now at 50, every time I have heard these 2 tunes, I'd think of GH immediately. Gloria Monty knew what she was doing. And thank you again Suss for ALL of your hard, hard work putting this absolutely amazing puzzle together for us to see how L & L "became" Luke & Laura. Forever! Thank you angel!!!

Cheryl Becker Well, Tony Geary finally exited the show for good in the last several years... Genie, I believe, is still on the show even right now. They had Luke and Laura go through many changes over the years. Eventually they botched the rewrites to the point of no return, and had them "outgrow" each other or I think the phrase they had Luke say was: "We don't fit anymore." If you can believe that... The writers didn't honor their history, so we come here to bask in the core/true storyline:)
They can go through a million writers to write future shows, but history is history. That shouldn’t change. And the writers AND the EP’s along the way also destroyed their story.

I know we all have to move on go with the flow sort to Speck but we GH fans always seem to go backwards all the same. We can never get enough of all the characters we enjoyed to this day. We do try hard to remember the good old days. Instead seek out what was once in our hearts the real history of our beloved real GH. I will always love all of that old gang of mine o matter how hard that that may try to eradicate our true hearts and our minds of GH ‘s EPIC greatness, To the devastation that that try to shove down our throats now. GH was broadcast briefly in my country in the early nineties but it was never really popular here since it aired after midnight, and we only got to see the Luke and Holly episodes, anyway. In other words, I had never heard of Luke&Laura until about three months ago, when I came across your channel almost by chance. 24 hours later I was so hooked I just COULDN'T stop watching. For a whole month I spent literally every waking hour (when I wasn't working or eating) watching your videos, and have been glued to the screen ever since.
I cannot thank you enough for all your generosity and hard work. Daytime soaps were never big in Europe, much less in Spain (with the exception of Santa Barbara), so, believe it or not, I'm enjoying LnL as if it were American television's best kept secret :)

As far as I'm concerned, this is THE scene of L&L. It beats the dancing in the dept store, the wedding, anything. I have never seen a scene come close to be SO hot & steamy & sexy. It's not me... it has nothing to do with re-loading it. The people who own the music on the clip have claimed it as theirs and they will not allow it to play on a mobile device. I can't even watch it on my I-pad, kindle, android phone....
