I totally relate to that cowlick in the back where you can see the scalp! I know I'm not going bald, but when I see that, that's what I think about it looking like.

    notes from the video
    less products
    lighter products
    less conditioner
depending on where you are in term of humidity use moss or gel because it’s light
don’t use conditioner on the roots area
no styling products on the roots area
deep conditioner on dirty hair before shampooing
    try protein treatments
    rice water

Love this! It's hard to find content like this for fine curlies, and thankfully I've found lighter products like Giovanni products that work for me but in the beginning of my curly hair journey, it was rough haha. Hopefully thin curlies who are newer in their journey find this video and don't have to deal with the buttery buildup I did 😂💕

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for this video talking about the modifications that you've made! My hair seems to be very similar to yours so I can identify with so many things you say. I just want my hair routine to be simple and as little product as possible. I'm new to all of this as my hair has always been as straight as a board up until the last couple of years! Now it's gotten very wavy - I'm not sure how our why that's happened, but it's created a whole new styling method for me to deal with! Again, thank you for giving me a lot of insight about it.

Thanks for the good info. There is never enough for people with hair like ours! I was curious about the deva foam that the stylist used on your hair. How much did they apply to your hair, and how was your hair on the following days. I like the idea of mousse, but usually they make my hair look stringy. I have not tried Deva mousse, but maybe will.

I am so glad I came upon this video. I have tried to follow the curly girl method from watching other videos that curly girls make. My hair is fine with medium volume and it was impossible for me to put as much product on as those with thick, course curly hair. You are the first one that has addressed this issue for those with fine and thinner volume curly hair. The advice you give is right on for our hair type. I will have a harder time finding and using light weight products than most because I do not use products that test on animals. Even if a product does wonders on my hair type, if the company tests, I will not buy it. But thank you for your video. You are God sent for us fine and thin curly haired women! Thank-you so much!

Great video which really resonated with me. So much of what you said about your hair is the same for mine. My hair has really thinned in volume over the last two years or so, complete with that gap at the back of the head where the scalp can be seen. Day one my hair looks okay, unless the air outside is damp; then it looks really terrible! In the UK, this is true for most of the year, unfortunately! My hair resembles cobwebs from day two! I also have a thyroid problem. Women with very fine hair/hair fall should visit their GP to check there are no underlying health conditions.

I had an issue with my hair being fine, thin, and shedding and I had to go to the endo and have some blood tests done for free testosterone and thyroid and cortisol levels. I ended up getting a prescription for aldactone and it balanced out my body chemistry more and my hair thickened back up. I got it bc I had pcos tho, another cause of hair loss is hypothyroidism. Sometimes it is just genetics tho.

I just tried evolvh control curl cream again. I have mixed feelings about it. I like the fragrance. I like that it does not have ingredients in it that darken my hair, like what I have been using lately. I have blond hair and and some styling products really make my hair much darker.
I noticed that it elongated my curls a lot, which is not necessarily a bad thing. So now I don't have curls, but waves. Another thing, I have to use a lot, at least a tablespoon, and that stuff is very expensive, and I get no cast from it. I am going to give it some more time. I bought the full size bottle since I got a discount code.

The whole time it gives my hair a wet look
    Arghhh!!
    Iam struggling with volume although.
Does you hair loose the hold by the end of the day? Cause mine do.
The next day while refreshing it's all tangley and messed up istead of clumps they become strands.
I do brush them when they are wet on refresh days, otherwise the end product is strands of curly hair instead of clumps.
