- Join us as we spend the day at LEGOLAND Windsor for the first day of the 2018 season! In this vlog we check out all of the new additions to the park for this year including a walk through Miniland USA and Miniland around the world, a new area featuring some fantastic LEGO models. We also ride on some of our favourite attractions at the park along with experiencing Ninjago, an interactive dark ride that opened in summer 2017.
Along with all of this we also talk about the future plans for the park and share footage of the area that will soon become home to a haunted house attraction. Despite quite a few ride closures we still had a great day at the park and we hope you enjoyed our vlog!

Love this vlog. I will be visiting in a few weeks to LEGOLAND with a couple of mates and cant wait to see what changes and updates they have done so glad you've been there and recorded it top man. Wow they done a good job on miniland nice. What great fun on these vlogs with Alex. Lego Star wars exhibit is brilliant.
I think they should just scrap tomb blasters and create a new indoor spinning coaster themed to a Arabian style area with a carpet as the base of the cart
I come back each year to this channel for the LEGOLAND reviews and tours, this vlog is brilliant as is all the others, you guys are SO funny ahaha

I've been on the original version of Laser Raiders it is called Lost Kingdom Adventure and it used to be my favourite ride at LEGOLAND. Now it's Ninjago

I love these videos because 4 years ago I got told I had scoliosis so I have had back surgery and I can't go on rollercoaster till October so when ever I see these videos I reminds me when I went when I was 10 years old when I last went yo Lego land

I live in California, and have been going to our Legoland my whole life. (even when I was in the womb for that matter!) I still think Legoland California is the best Legoland park, as it was the last one built by Lego rather than Merlin and is pretty much the epitome of their work. Sadly they've been taking out a lot of great rides in favor of upcharge "experiences" and a lot of the newer things are of fairly low quality, but I still love it! Legoland Windsor looks great too, though Miniland USA looks very lackluster. BTW The arch you saw in a film is in Saint Louis.
Sorry you guys missed a bunch of rides, but you kept a good face on it. Admire that, I do. Thank you for taking us along on your trips Shawn!
Thanks for the comment, I'd love to visit LEGOLAND California one day! I enjoy Miniland, it's my favourite part of the park and the amount of effort that goes into the models is incredible
In California, there’s a ride that goes through some of Miniland called Coast Cruise

I didn't get to ride Ninjago last year because the queue was always 2+ hours long - disappointed to find out that it's just a bunch of screens!
Seems like Merlin entertainment has bought several of the same company, Ninjago: The ride is very similar to 'Ghostbusters 5D' in Heide park resort. I'm more a fan of the Ninjago ride in Legoland Deutschland, which is more thrill because as in Heide park the capacity is very low.
Do you know if the Alton towers annual passes are available all year to get as we may go in a few weeks and unsure? Also do u have a merlin annual pass, is it worth the price because we are a family of 5 but only tend to visit maybe 3 parks a year (not including paultons park) and it's expend8ve either way so would it work out cheaper to pay advance and get discount or get the pass which is over £500? Xx
Family Madness I'd get the Alton towers annual passes now because they are doing a deal because of the opening of wickerman it's £55pp
The deal on annual passes will be on all year however a Merlin pass could work out a better option especially if you plan on visiting 3 or more parks a year

We have a Merlin Annual Pass so receive entry as part of that. As far as I know it's still full price when paying on the door even with ride closures
Darn! I swear I saw someone vlogging and it must’ve been you! If I’d had known I would’ve said hi. I went again on Easter Sunday, and far more was open, bit disappointing that so much was closed was for opening.

I went there on 20 December 2018 - 21 December 2018, I had a nice stay in a hotel, I was 449, had some rides and met Santa.

Good to see Legoland get some nice updates this year, although a shame so many rides were closed.
Hopefully more will be open on our next visit
In California, the Sky Cruiser (Sky Rider) is getting torn down and they’re building their own version of Atlantis Submarine Voyage called LEGO City: Deep Sea Adventure. And also they updated the ride audio for Lost Kingdom Adventure (Laser Raiders).
Ninjago the ride is based of a tv show on cartoon network and netflix
Red guy I have heard people say that it is based on the movie but I know that’s not true because the original version of Ninjago: The Ride opened a year before the movie was released

Why did they get rid of jungle coaster? It was a good coaster for the slightly more adventurous
It was due to noise complaints
They moved it to LEGOLAND Florida. There they changed the name to Project X. And last week (I think) they reopened it as a VR coaster called The Great LEGO Race.
I hate the drop
I can handle the turns but not the drop
My dad was nearly crushed to death in legoland windsor when a giant prop lego brick stack fell on him back in the early 2000s. He lost the ability to walk and we sued the pants off them. We won too.
That sounds awful
Wasn't much fun. They initially tried to fob us off with lifetime passes but we were having none of it. Technically it wasn't their fault since it was two scouser-sounding teens who pushed it, but they ought to secure those things so they don't tip.
I was so disappointed going last year. Expensive to get in and they just don't put any of the money back into the park. Love the vids though.

When I went to LEGOLAND I had a over 1 hour wait for ninjago
The line for Ninjago in California is usually over an hour wait. Even though it opened May 5, 2016.
