- Join Shawn & Charlotte as we return to the West Midland Safari & Leisure Park that's located in Bewdley for our annual visit. In this vlog we take our car through the safari and share footage of the fantastic variety of animals on display at the safari park.
Along with that we then head into the leisure area and share footage from The Land Of The Living Dinosaurs, Ice Age and much more. We also share on ride POV's from all of the major rides on offer in the adventure theme park including the Rhino Roller Coaster, Twister Roller Coaster, Kong and Venom! All of this and so much more in our action packed vlog from the West Midland Safari Park.

I went today even tho the drop tower doesn’t look that good and camera it’s really fast and sudden and it makes your belly drop
I just been to this safari and I have to say it is the best safari by far I love the fact you can feed them and interact with them such an amazing safari and the theme park is good aswell overall really impressed

@@mikekaraoke I didn't know what was there as I hadn't looked into going there. This video showed what was there so I Googled where it was and found out it is only about 2 hours away from where I live. I had only heard of the name before and had thought it was further away.
@@littlemissgiggles165 But you missed my point, Just because you never been somewhere doesn't mean you don't know what is there via promotion like Adverts and/or documentaries on TV, Magazines etc etc like I mentioned above
Another friend of mine has never been to: Blackpool Pleasure Beach but knows what is there and how big the park is + what is inside Blackpool Tower, + Sandcastle Water Park, and hearing other people that went, And another mate of mine never been to Dreamland in Margate but knows what is there via documentaries + adverts + is also featured in one of his fav comedies-Only Fools + Horses as you know etc
I have never been to: Fantasy Island Theme Park and is 3 hours away from me and I know what is there via the adverts on TV, Radio, Seen on Programme Blue Peter, The News, Magazines etc

when i clicked on this i didn’t know what this place was but i saw it was a safari so i knew charlotte would be in it
I love this place :D Kong is probably my favourite flat ride and Twister is my favourite coaster
Funny story about the goat walk...a goat tried to eat my dress when I was, like, 4 or 5...and every time I've been since then that goat has been there........I named him Mike...I hate you, Mike
I've also gotten stuck on the lift hill for the rapids before with my dad. That's the only time I went on a ride that stopped on the lift hill
Rainbow Cray-Z a goat did eat a part of meh dress luckily we bought leggings and a t-shirt

I love west Midlands I always go there with my family its great fun

Child hood memories i went there when i was little
Amazing isn't it and Have you been to Longleat before ? if not there is a Carousel, Rockin Rhino, Longleat Railway and Jungle Cruise. Don't forget to check out Koala Creek where you'll see Europe's First ever Southern Koalas. If this helps there is goats aswell.

I have not been to longleat since I was 6. There was a deadly 60 maze when I went

When your like 30 seconds away the people in the back seats go into the boot and hide while your patents pay to get in then you get out when you get to the car park we save about £75 every time 😂😂

When we only had a free entry ticket for three of my family I just ducked onto the floor so they didn't notice me. We got in for free because of me :).
I went there about 5 weeks ago and at the rhino part it was charging the car in front of us but the safari workers stopped it and put it asleep, great moment!
I am going to the West Midlands safari park tomorrow so I decided to rewatch this video
I went there when I was 6 now I am 13 and remember walking across a bridge with hippos underneath I was so scared of falling 🤣
53:46 that is the one i went on and it was soooo scary i could barely hold on it properly because it feels like your going to fall😂
Had to put a message on after visiting the park in August. Before going my boys had watched this video loads. As we drove through and reached the first set of moving gates- they piped up singing the Jurassic park theme song (which they have never seen)- but they just started going “na na na na na.......”- just like these two in their video! Was so funny! The boys do love this video and love the safari park!

That’s true...unless you’re there in the holiday and the cars create the worlds longest game of car conga. That’s why when I go to the park i always wish to skip past the safari because by the time we finish getting round it feels like centuries have passed by 😂.
This is my local "theme park" although we never really go.

I remember me and my friends filled up the rhino coaster and there was too much weight so the coaster wouldn’t start 😂

I have actually been here before multiple times the white tiger , penguins and seals are my favourite there
It’s me local park I live 5 minutes away and it’s a great little park and we always get free tickets and you made a great vlog 👍🏻

Been going here since I was a kid. 1992 onwards...that ghost train has hardly changed 😂
I've been there I went on twister rink rapids Kong and lots of other rides
I went here today😁 and the roller coasters are CRAZY
the catapillar coaster was actually the first ride i ever went on in my life

I been to this one a canny few times i been with a company called national holidays i love going and seeing the animals and I love the ride part of the park aswell ??
If you haven't been to Longleat safari park before then it's worth going. They have got lots of attractions on show for example the Jungle Cruise , Safari drive through , the Longleat railway , carousel , rockin rhino plus lots of other animals to see in the walk around section of the park. You also get a good view of the Giraffes and zebras from the watering hole cafe near car park entrance to the safari park.

I never knew about this safari park. Thanks for putting it on my radar. Great vlog and it looked like a lot of fun being had by a lovely couple. One question: What did Shawn have on his sandwiches?
I’m telling you now, the twister coaster is way more intense than it looks.
On the rhino coaster me, my brother and my mum went on it and the person stopped the ride too late so he let us ride again. The staff are so nice.

Shawn a place I recommend going to is The showcases and dinosaur park in Wales, it's not a theme park but it great value for money, loads of dinosaurs and three showcases to go into

Seeing you have come here, why not go to a Gulliver’s park, they are for children, but you have also been to Lego land so I recommend you going to one of the parks once your back in the uk.
We have many plans to visit more UK parks this year!
Somewhere I’ve not visited but will in the future. Had no idea there was so much to see and do. I’d love to visit on a quiet day, but we are restricted to school holidays so bound to be busier. Thanks for another informative vlog.

Nice to see my childhood theme park being covered on TPW!! I remember a lot of the rides that you showed. I think they had their traditional names back then though like Ghost Train and Chair-o-Planes. The Caterpillar was called the Big Apple. You mentioned the Cobra boomerang coaster going away. Also missing was the UFO (bit like an Enterprise), maybe that wasn't family friendly either. Great video as always though, love the African / explorer theming throughout the park.

I love this place.
I live here and take my kids at least once a year! Its exspensive but I do love it and so do they. Also new owners have the park now that's possibly why you were allowed to do on ride filming. 😊

Guys, this vlog was awesome. Some amazing footage in the safari section, I quickly came to the conclusion Charlotte is crazy (in a nice way!) with some brilliant comments and sometimes funny perhaps without realising! I thought Shawn was the sensible one until 28:22 (Shawn … they're not REAL lol) and then I realised he's just as crazy when I saw 29:00 love it. As for the rides, Twister Roller Coaster needs some theming in the centre and yeah, the ghost train could be a much better thrill/scare experience with some additional audio and animatronics. As for the missing goats … Charlotte didn't read the menus closely enough ;) keep up the great work both of you.
