If you all like all the fancy patterns you should invest in a flat bed knitting machine. Hundreds of patterns and so much quicker too. I'm not say this instead of the circular machine is have four and would never not use them. But the flatbed are an awesome challenge with some fab multiple designs 😉

Thanks for the tutorial, my hat turned out great. I found a way to avoid the line though! Instead of using the regular knit stitches in the pattern section just wrap the two needles all the way around and at the start of every 2nd row wrap 3 needles for the first stitch and 2 for the rest. This gives you your offset stitches without any noticeable difference in the design.

You should make a tutorial or at least show the pattern on graph paper. Thanks.

@@asg5852 Hi - can you be more specific on the second row? If I do wrap 3 at the beginning of the row, it leaves 43 stitches. What do I do with the last stitch at the end?

Hi - I tried that and I got a huge hole where the 3 wrap arounds occured. Maybe I misunderstood you. I did w2 for the first row and then w3, w2 to almost the end and w3 for the second row. Is that what you meant? I then decided to try something else. I did a w1 at rhe beginning of the 2nd row and at the end of the 2nd row and that looks much better. I wish I could show you photos of the two.

This gorgeous pattern looks a lot like the simplified honeycomb stitch. I have a vintage pattern in my store for a unisex jacket cardigan using the knit stitch and "K1B" that has a similar appearance.

It's beautiful, you shouldn't worry about the length of the video. You're teaching very nicely and not rushing, but you should have shown how to finish it, for the beginner who will take up the project as it's beautiful , like my daughter had to come to me to learn how to finish it. ❤❤❤

You. just gave me an idea to try out of this pattern. Thanks so much for sharing. Your stitch looks great... Greets from Mexico. I just got my first addi and unboxed yesterday... I'm going nuts about using it... Don't want to do anything else but knitting :-)

@@knitsofold So that means that you wrap 3 stitches twice? The beginning and end are next to one another. Wouldn't that leave large holes? I will try it because I really like the design.
