You forgot to mention the passive traits that each traveler starts out with.
For example, Therion the thief can pick the locks of rare treasure chests out in the wild. Tressa the merchant (currently my fav) can find money lying around anywhere and everywhere at random times (she's basically a cash flow injection).
I think that Olberic has a lower encounter rate in the wild.
That is a special skill you get after having four regular skills
Specifically its a passive skill from the scholar job
For anyone wondering basically the difference between the noble actions and the rogue actions is the you have to be a certain level with a noble character to do their action. With rouge actions it does a percent chance, and you can be whatever level you want.

You forgot to mention the Hunter can also "Challenge" or "Provoke", which is the name for hers. Also, the Merchant can do a sort of summoning as well. She can buy help in fights for a price, to do massive damage. The Warrior is also the only class able to boost while defending, to help out your team. All the Characters have something in and out of battle to be used. But other than that, it was a great video. keep it up! :D

Hunters can also use Mosswine from Monster Hunter to heal.

Just remember the first person you choose you can never take out your party. So definitely choose wisely. I feel like apothecary or cleric just because they're healers makes sense.

I like how they did the 3D environment and lighting/shading with SNES graphics & breath of fresh air gameplay. A battle system that isn't dependant on just fighting.
H'aanit all the way for me. Therion is on my team as well thus far.
Therion is my fav right now. Just love the risk that comes with being him.
Unless you save scum, but that kinda ruins the point of playing as him, IMO.
i use merchant, warrior, cleric, scholar. but what is importan is to get the other jobs and unlock the support skills. combo them and you will get a super strong lineup. esp scholar, give him as much SP and unlock the double elm attack. so scholar with cleric as 2nd job is super strong. warrior with hunter as 2nd job.
All the classes sound really cool. This video actually made it harder for me to choose. It was still very informative though. Thank you. :)

chose primrose in the demo and boy did it get pretty deep real fast. got therion afterwards and he seems to be a fun character. you could say it was a CUT above the rest....god i'm terrible

David Traumann I chose the cleric, I like her Japanese voice more though. It's just really nice starting with a holy/healer that can summon strong people to make up for her weak defense. Her story is a little meh so far, but she's nice to have gameplay wise

Something I'm curious about is, can you change a character's class? Or are they there set classes?
The first class you pick will always be in your party the whole game but the others can be recruited and added to your party later in the game. The class is tied to the character because they have a hand crafted origins story.
Okay, that's what I thought. Thanks much! I just heard a bit of misleading info in the comments and I thought I missed something.
Eventually you'll be able to add a sub-job to your characters to extend their capabilities. I'm not sure if you can swap this around at will but that info might be out there somewhere, or I'm sure the game will explain it when you get access to it.

Good, informative vid for a great game. Honestly no matter who you start with you won't be disappointed, just keep in mind your starting character will be locked to your party until you finish out their story so make sure you pick someone who fits your play style!
I started with H'aanit the Huntress. Her olde timey speech is a bit annoying but she's great in battle.
Quick tip if you start with the Huntress: if you capture enough healing monsters with her (mosswine or those rams west of Noblecourt) you can get away with not having a healer for a while if you'd rather focus on offense characters first.

Abelardo The captured creatures have a limited number of uses in battle so its not quite pokemon but capturing them is the same. More like your recruiting temporary skills than permanent animal companions.
U didn't say the most important thing that only thief can open purple chests
This was informative in a sense but I don’t think you sell the characters well enough with these brief explanations. You could’ve expounded more on possible skills they could use and how else their play style works in combat.
Question, will you only have access to the path skill of the first character you pick for the entire game? Or can you use each of them once you recruit the characters in game?
you can use all of them.
The only drawback is, whoever you choose at the beginning has to always be in your party. You will not be able to switch them out.
I want to know which path action is noble and which path action is rouge.
kevisafan Olberic, Alfyn, Tressa, and Ophelia are Noble, and Therion, Cyrus, Primrose and H'aanit are Rogue. The one problem with this video is that it doesn't go into the advantages and cons so much, such as Ophelia's guide ability is dependant on her level, whereas Primrose' s can allure anyone, but at a risk.
Pretty sure Primrose/Dancer is the only class that uses rouge as part of their skillset.
Pyrrha Nikos If you are talking about the makeup, then yes (and great thinking there). If you're actually talking about the Rogue actions, both Therion and H'aanit were used as examples in the Noble/Rogue trailer, and I can confirm through playing the demo that Cyrus has a Rogue action.

what do you mean H'aanit 's ability is rogue? what is rogue about randomly having your pets beat up innocent villagers?

Are recruited npcs used up permanently once you summon them in battle? Or can you always recruit them again to replenish your Ally stock
They have a set amount of uses and once gone, you will have to go recruit a new person. They pretty much act as free attack items.
If you’re trying to tell me Ophilia is a better healer than Alfyn, I’m gonna have some issues :c Clerics can’t heal for 9999
What is the reward that primrose gets? Like, if guide is guaranteed, what does Allure get thats better?
Animedingo i read somewhere, that in the case of Tressa you need to skill up before getting items from certain npcs, while for Therion you can do it we every npc but with some probability

If I had the chance to play the game, I will choose Cyrus. But if not, I will watch every gameplay who choose Cyrus as starter. LOL notify me , I will drop by and watch your gameplay.

Game is looking awesome but I gotta best Zelda first before I buy another single player game haven’t played much Zelda till today had four hours of the game since April now I have over 12 hours in the hand I love it so amazing glad I didn’t get rid of this but once u beat Zelda I’m deciding on octo path xenoblade or bayonetta live jrpg games so octo path might be my second single player games played primrose in the demo and demo was amazing

You could go with 1 if you really wanted. Might be hard, but possible. You don't actually have to pick up the extra characters.

this is one of the best rpg games ever made but the price is so trash, imo it was worth maybe 30 at release date and should be 30 now but 10 with discount for christmas or something, but they keep trying to sell it for 60 and thats just making people download the pirated version
What does reputation do
Some NPC's won't interact with you if you have low reputation, and you can't use your path actions on them. Also, I think the prices for the shop's increase as well.

They're established characters that have already been written and created, dummy. This isn't Skyrim or an MMO.
