- "Satisfied" is a song recorded by Richard Marx for his second album, Repeat Offender, which went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
"Satisfied" was the lead single from Richard Marx's highly anticipated second album, Repeat Offender. Heavy radio, video and retail attention led to the single's #39 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, during the week of May 6, 1989. The single steadily climbed to the top, reaching the #1 spot the week of June 24, 1989. "Satisfied" was the first of five Top 20 singles from Marx's second studio album, which kept the artist on the singles chart through the Summer of 1990.
After 35 years this song still kicks ass in 2024 so I'm satisfied 👍 Thanks Richard!

I heard this in Lowes about a week ago while looking at Christmas decorations. Hadn't heard it in years, which made it even better in a way. You better believe I rocked out for about 4 straight minutes.

Oh to be 23 again, which i was then. Yeah, this song is 30 years old. I had the cassette for this album. Imagine a time when there was no Facebook, Twitter and phones were not smart and barely portable.
Just heard it on the radio and it brought me back in time.
Saw him at Hammersmith Odeon in the early nineties - he was excellent - an underrated singer/song writer in my opinion. His voice is unique and really suits rockier songs.

Great song to end the 80s, (bummer 😒) Richard had quite the winning streak going from late '87 to about '92. And as the 80s were ending and the 90s were right around the corner, i always felt that Richard sort of picked up where Bryan Adams left off in terms of making catchy guitar driven songs with good pop melodies. Of course Adams wouldn't be heard from again until 1992s 'Waking Up The Neighbors' album.
Richard is now currently married to Daisy Fuentes.
