goldberg in ready to rumble
Personally, Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage for the most part; great cameos by WWF legends
Guardians of the Galaxy
Practically anything with Roddy Piper
You forgot the role that started the long association of wrestlers with the motion picture industry: Dwayne The Rock Johnson’s grandpa High Chief Peter Maivia as the Samoan Japanese henchman in the James Bond movie You Only Live Twice… this role started the long association of wrestlers with the franchise such as Harold Sakata in Goldfinger to Dave Batista in Spectre…
I am surprised The Longest Yard wasn’t an honorable mention because it was definitely a group of them in that 😂😂
Yeah, the Longest Yards, the Adam Sabber movie, not the classic movie his Stone Coal Steve Austin.
Me too! Kevin Nash, Stone Cold, Goldberg, the Great Khali…
They were in a supporting rule ... not cameos
Like Alastor said, those were actual legit roles throughout the movie, like Andre in Princess Bride, so he wasnt using those.
It's cameo's not supporting roles
Kevin Nash played Super Shredder in "TMNT 2" also!
I was just about to say this!
Seth Rollins told Xavier Woods on UpUpDownDown that when he met Kevin Nash the first time he talked to him about TMNT 2 first before any of the wrestling 🤣
He was also in John Wick
Should have been a honorable mentioned at least
Nash was also in the Longest Yard remake with Adam Sandler which also had Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bill Goldberg, and The Great Khali.
So happy Andy Kaufman finally went into The WWE Hall Of Fame
Big Show’s cameo fighting Arnold in Jingle all the Way was better than his part in Waterboy
He must have been the big, muscular Santa Claus! Who knew?
Jesse Ventura was in The Running Man, Predator and Batman and Robin
Plus Demolition Man
Tobey Maguire is officially the best Spider-Man!!! Totally deserves to be #1!!! R.I.P. Randy Savage.😍🥰😘
I have no idea
OHHHHH YEAAAAHHH!!!
Well said Lindsay, RIP Macho Man x
Just today I found out that Randy Savage was Bonesaw in Spider Man😂
Same, I remember him appearing in Spider-Man as BoneSaw, great cameo and quite talent performance based on his professional wrestling performance
Me too I was watching and thought i know him from somewhere where have I seen him before
Yeah, R.I.P Randy Savage aka Macho Man in Sam Ramies Spider-Man.
thanks for coming up from your rock lol
It looked like he broke his neck when he landed in it 😂
Andre The Giant in The Princess Bride should be number one. Simply a classic.
True, but not really a cameo as he was one of the main stars.
Facts
Andre the giant was also in The princess Bride in 1987 and Terry Funk was also in Road House. With Patrick swayze
Still wish they would have mentioned that Mean Gene was also in Spider-Man though. I know he's a commentator but he's still just as well known and has a cameo that most would recognize.
2:58 don't forget that big show also made another small appearance in Jingle all the way along side Arnold Schwarzenegger
Nash was also super shredder in tmnt 2 and Jericho also had a good cameo in Jay and Silent Bob reboot
The Big Show in The Waterboy as Captain insaneo. When he started laughing at Bobby that was Hilarious.
now i get that captain insano thing he did in aew months ago
Kevin Nash will always be Super Shredder to me.
You forgot the role that started the long association of wrestlers with the motion picture industry: Dwayne The Rock Johnson’s grandpa High Chief Peter Maivia as the Samoan Japanese henchman in the James Bond movie You Only Live Twice… this role started the long association of wrestlers with the franchise such as Harold Sakata in Goldfinger to Dave Batista in Spectre…
yeah he was the driver!
Since Meeting Stallone During the Filming "Paradise Alley", Terry Funk Ended Up Becoming a Stunt/Fight Coordinator for Many of Sly's Films for a Good Number of Years Afterwards
Hulk Hogan also made a cameo in the movie Spy Hard. Andre the Giant stared in The Princess Bride. What surprised me that he was in Conan the Destroyer. Big Show also made a cameo in Jingle All the Way alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger ❤
Thunder lips Rocky 3 & guest A-Team Walker Texas Ranger
Andre the Giant was a supporting actor not a Cameo.
The first guest appearance of Randy “Macho Man” Savage I ever knew him for was a voice role in Dexter’s Lab in the mid-90s and I’ve followed him since.
Hulk Hogan appearing in a cameo for Gremlins 2 was also a plus when threatening to beat the gremlins in the projection room if they don’t fix the movie.
The commentary was on point , Hitting all the nickname and the puns😂
I loved Kevin Nash in The Punisher, but no mention of his role as Super Shredder?!
Seth Rollins said the first time he met Nash he mentioned TMNT 2 before wrestling 😂
Your level of Readiness < Bonesaw's level of Readiness
I watched Conan The Destroyer on more than one occasion, and I would've never known that was Andre The Giant in that monster's costume
Kevin Nash was great in The Punisher
Yeah, did you know that the knife that stabbed him was real.
@@topher9507 yeah I’ve read that Kevin Nash is such a badass
@topher9507 Really?? Where did you saw that?
@@thelonewolf70x7 He said it himself. Go do a search.
Don't forget about Kevin Nash in Grandma's Boy!
Kevin Nash as Super Shredder should of been up there!
Former WWE wrestler Nate Jones cameoed at the beginning of Troy as a warrior named Boagreus.
Rocky III was also the movie in which Rocky twice faced Clubber Lang, played by Mr. T. He and Hogan appearing in this movie was to promote the very first Wrestlemania, in which the main event was a tag team match with the two facing Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff.
Um, nope. Rocky III was in 1982 (filmed in 1981?) and the first Wrestlemania wasn't until 1985. In fact working in Rocky got Hogan fired from the WWF!
Now I really want to see suburban commando 😂😂, also bam bam Bigelow in major Payne was pretty funny
No way! Terry funk in road house! Mind your business dad! Had me Rollin!
Thanks a lot for doing this as a wrestling fan and fan of your channel! I like you mixing both!
The Princess Bride and Andre The Giant should be on this list without a question!!!!
Someday William Regal will be in the movies, including period dramas, British comedy, and slasher horror, where he will be playing the next Dr. Sam Loomis, who hunts down a female silent masked killer, and it’ll be called Lady Porcelain
I'm actually shocked that he hasn't been in movies yet. Regal has amazing facial reactions and an amazing wit for dry humor.
Andy Kaufman is in the WWE Hall of Fame, just so you know
Should’ve been in it a long time ago
Should’ve been in it before Drew Carey
Hulk Hogan was in a good amount of movies. I liked him in No Holds Barred and Thunder in Paradise(well it is a TV show but it did have 2 movies). Santa With Muscles which Hogan starred in was a really strange movie to watch. Mr. Nanny(again Hogan starred in) was pretty funny.
Edge was also in the show "Haven". He was a special guest in some episodes of season 1 but became main part of the cast in season 2 to all the way to the end of the series' final season(Season 5).
Steve Austin was also in The Expendables, Nash Bridges, and The Condemned.
I definitely enjoyed They Live which Roddy Piper starred in. He was also in Body Slam(which also had Captain Lou Albano, Mean Gene Okelund, Ric Flair, and couple others), and Hell Comes To Frogtown.
Bill Goldberg was great in Santa's Slay. He was also the host of the show "Bullrun" which lasted 3 seasons.
You could also make a video on this.
The Fabulous Freebirds in Highlander. Some of Michael PS Hayes's best work!
I'm surprised the Fabulous Freebirds didn't get a mention for Highlander
Several people don't know Kevin Nash played Super shredder in Teenage Mutant Turtles Secret of the Ooze
Man On The Moon is a classic
Taker (in a two year old's voice) "You're a dead man, Ramsey!"
Hulk: "...No wonder you guys never talk!"
You should have mentioned that Kevin Nash in the punisher, was legitimately stabbed in that scene
Great job!
Big Show Was Also in "Reggie's Prayer" Starring Reggie White Around the Same Time He Was in "The Waterboy"
Kevin Nash was also super shredder in tmnt 2 : secret of the oooze
Fun fact: Andre the Giant's cameo as Dagoth in Conan the Destroyer is uncredited.
To me, nothing is more iconic in the movies than Hulk Hogan as Thunderlips (it led to Hulkamania), followed by Randy Savage as Bonesaw in Spider-man, and Andre the Giant as Bigfoot in the TV show Six-Million Dollar Man, Fezzik in Princess Bride, and Dagoth in Conan the Destroyer.
Jim Carrey being the method actor he is, it was hard to tell where he ended and Andy Kaufman began. And I think Jerry Lawler and JR would be inclined to agree.
Lawler and Carrey both talk about how they didn't talk to each other for about a decade after Man On The Moon, before Carrey reached out to Lawler acknowledging how far he went in his method acting days to get into Andy's headspace.
I like both Hulk Hogan cameo in Rocky III as Thunderlips, against Rocky Balboa, and “Macho Man” Randy Savage cameo in Spider-Man as BoneSaw in Spider-Man (2002), against The Human Spider (which later be named Spider-Man). Both are my personal favorites so far.
RIP “Macho Man” Randy Savage 🕊🙏
I would've made mention of Nash in TMNT 2 as Super Shredder
Nash was actually stabbed in the shoulder in the fight scene with Thomas Jane. It was said that Nash continued the scene like it was nothing.
Let's face it....even in a cameo, Randy Savage was often the star. Ooh yeahhh!
OX BAKER is the epitome of a heel he was rumored to have killed 3 guys with his infamous heart punch
When you were mentioning Nash you forgot to mention his brief stint as Super Shredder on TMNT II Secret of the Ooze
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! 6:40 I heard Nash stayed in character after getting hurt (for real), while filming that scene. 🥶
Jesse Ventura in The Running Man. He & Arnold got to fight each other. Well almost but it's really them.
Kevin Nash's Appearance In The Punisher Is Still My Favorite.
Kevin Nash in Sandler's version of The Longest Yard is the funniest I've seen him.
Yeah, after he switched the steroids with estrogen, LOL
@@IronWolf277 I can rewatch his parts on a loop, will keep me in a constant rofl mode.
Facts easily my favorite role of his
You forgot: John Cena, Triple H, Paige, The Undertaker and Zack Ryder in Surfs Up 2: Wavemania
Keven Nash also did the shredder in TMNT 2
I totally agree with your #1. Pick! Oooh Yeah! Bone Saw is ready!
There are so many other Superstars who also appears In movies like Randy Orton, John Cena, Goldberg, Triple H and more
Aw damn..it's been so long since I've seen Suburban Commando that my vague memory of the bounty hunter with the squeaky kid voice didn't realize it was Undertaker
Great video
Hulk hogan in 3 ninjas high noon at mega mountain is a classic
Bam bam bigalow in major Payne is my number one
Bam Bam Bigelow was hilarious in Major Payne
Amazing video watch mojo of pro wrestlers starring in movies, fantastic job.
I gotta admit Batista is the best wrestler turned actor. Not because of his famous role as Drax the Destroyer. But because he doesn't play the typical lead action hero roles unlike the Rock & Cena. He has played a variety of roles whether he's playing a serious, evil, funny, or good character; all while being sidelined for others to shine. Even though he doesn't have a big resume of films, he has managed to work well with many famous directors in serious films. Which has helped him get recognized and proved himself that he's a natural actor, yet better as he gets older.
Paul Wight revised Captain Insano in AEW with The Acclaimed
The Hulkster also has a cameo in Leslie Nielsen's Spy Hard.
Y'all forgot Kevin Nash was Super Shredder in TMNT 2: The Secret of the Ooze.
I can't believe you picked the Russian over Kevin Nash as The Super Shredder
Super Shredder wasn't a cameo role.
Kevin Nash also played Super Shredder in TMNT 2 as well
Andre the Giant also had a couple of cameos in the Princess Bride, while the Rock's career in movies got started with a cameo in The Mummy Returns.
Fezzik is NOT a cameo!
@@bernadettejohnstone4529 My mistake, I was thinking of the Sissy Spacek movie that was similar to the Princess Bride. He played a strongman giant in that one too.
@@kennethferrari5232 Trading Mom!!!!
forgot about that one hahaha
The first one is my favourite. I love Tobey Maguire's Spiderman.
Macho Man as Bonesaw in Spider Man is my favorite wrestler cameo in a movie. Also I liked Stone Cold, Kevin Nash, Goldberg, & Great Khali in the Longest Yard!
"They live" is the goat wrestling movie
9:10 "Fe-Fi-Fo-Fum. What beanstalk you fall from?"
Ready to Rumble, the 2000 comedy movie had a lot of Wrestlers in the cast. Wrestlers such as Sting, Goldberg, Rey mysteryo, DDP and many more. I mean it was a wrestling movie how could you miss that! 😅
It also had a blink and you'll miss it John Cena
Bonesaw and Thunderlips the top 2 is perfect because those are my favorite 2!
Major Payne is underrated
DO YOU EVER HEAR ABOUT THE ENGINE THAT COULD...
I forgot the Big Show was in Waterboy. At the time, he was still in the WCW and going by the name The Giant.
ultimate warrior aswell firestarter ,hbk baywatch ,rvd wrong sife of twn aswell
Kevin Nash also appeared as Super Shredder in TMNT 2
You ain't going nooowhere I've got you for three minutessss!!! 💪💪💪
Big John Studd as Jack Daniels in Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man!
Not a movie, but King Kong Bundy appeared in the TV show Married With Children.
Terry Funk also did a few scenes in Roadhouse with Patrick Swayze.
C’Mon man “The Diesel” Kevin Nash was also SUPER SHREDDER in TMNT 2 The Secret Of The Ooze
Kevin Nash also got stabbed by Thomas Jane too which was left in the movie. Pure badass.
Rowdy Rody Piper in "they live"
Hollywood Hulk Hogan in "the muppets in the space"
Goldberg in "universal soldier 2"
Sheamus in"T,M,N,T 2 back to the Shadows"
Another honorific mentions.....
8:40 Terry Funk was also in Road House as one of the villain's goons and gets beaten up by Patrick Swayze.
BONESAW IS READYYY!!
Terry Funk in Road house, King Kong Bundy in Married with Children as 2 characters lol
Andre in Kramer vs Kramer
It was known Nash was going to have to cut his hair for that role in Punisher, so WWE made an angle out of it. In an attempt to throw the fans, Nash dyed his hair a weird yellow colour. Jericho said it was such a brutal colour, there was no way he couldn't cut it.
Andre the giant in The princess bride come on , "does anybody want a peanut"
Bruce Campbell was gonna be revealed as that universe’s Mysterio in Spider Man 4
Yeah, unfortunately, after Spider-Man 3 failed at the box office, they scraped Spider-Man 4. Until they made Spider-Man Far from home having Mysterio as hero but a villain in disguise.
Technically that wasn't "The Undertaker" in _Suburban Commando,_ he was still "Mean Mark Callus" when it was shot. According to the story I've heard several times, it was _SC_ which brought Mark to Hogan's attention, who told Vince to hire the guy. (Obviously that's the shortened version of the story.)
Terry funk also in Roadhouse haha
ANDRE THE GIANT IN THE PRINCESS BRIDE!!! WTF DUDE
