    As a Filipino, it is noteworthy and interesting that more Africans are coming to Philippines whether to study or work. You are ALL welcome here. Cheers.

    Hi, amusing to see in this content an influx of African nationals/expats in the Philippines recently some have a career work already. Someday these African expats will exceed more than Western and Asian expats. Best endeavours to all Africans living in the Philippines😊😊😊

    This is the first time I watched your vlog. I noticed there are now a number of foreign vloggers of African descent in the country. I have watched I think, at least 3 female African vloggers. One of them was interviewing foreign students in Cebu City who are studying English language. I came to know you when I watched one of the vlogs of Sol & Luna TV. Keep safe and keep interviewing people.

      Yes that would be an interesting topic because I would really like to know why so many Filipino Americans are confused and plenty who are ashed of their Filipino heritage. It's cool to be Asian now in the US so it seems Fil-ams are trying to reconnect yet other Asians were able to hold on to their heritage despite being a 2nd or 3rd gen Asian American. But most 1st gen pinoys don't .
      If you can ask them why their parents thought it was a great idea not to teach their children their native tongue whether they are full blooded or half Filipino. Doing so disconnects them from their culture and family members. I wish more 1st gen fil-ams as well as Filipinos in the Philippines who are teaching their kids English first and just speaks taglish or just all English ( plenty of them at international schools. Erwan heusaff is an example) would realize that they aren't helping their kids.
      My Lola left the Philippines in 1950 when she was still a child yet her entire family kept their Filipino language and culture. I'm only 1/4 pinay but I'm fluent in bisaya and Tagalog. All my cousins and aunts speak either or both. We visit the Philippines often. No confusion nor felt disconnected at all because we held on to our culture.

    Filipinos love good food so everyone is always welcome to introduce your food to us!
    I especially am a fan of Ethiopian cuisine. I know it's very rare in the Philippines which is why I try to cook my own.
    But I cannot copy the lovely injera bread!

    I don't mind many foreigners coming to work in the Philippines as long as they're helping the economy. As long their government is good to the Philippines. Don't be like China. Eventually the Philippines will become a global country. Again, don't let your country be like China.

      Yea, a lot of Filipinos can’t leave PH that’s why whatever is shown on TV or what they are told is all they know. It’s usually American Culture. African culture is not a popular subject but I see now that other countries are coming to PH and loving it.

    • @ronnienestor
      @ronnienestor Рік тому +1

      @@ariesgemv But we still don’t know much about African culture like the food. Let’s accept that we’ve seen TV documentaries about Africa but mostly about wild animals migration and sometimes the “not so positive things like the scams”. I would appreciate if there are African restaurants in Manila.
