As someone really experienced with Unity, that hasn’t used Unreal for a while this helped me a lot getting back on track! So mutch valuable content here! 😮
First time ever using any game dev software and Unreal engine and wow great tutorial! Had lots of fun and really good at going in depth on how things are done. I did engineering in college and Unreal is pretty much high level math and Engineering. Great work and thanks again!
You are the greatest in this. This is the first tutorial that i am actually going to go through and i am in the middle and everything is so simple and comprehensive. AND I can actually apply this to my own project. Thanks a lot
THE best (removed "one of" for brevity). Also, someday, it would be great to do a Part 2 of the last epic GTA tutorial: adding missions, a melee weapon, inventory, ai companions, and car damage !
Hi Gorka, you have so much valuable and really well done content that I could learn a lot from... thanks for that! Do you ever do showcases where you present my actual game or other games, for example?
i think maybe ill try to make a game with the help of your video and tag you youhelped me a lot its a little difficult for a beginner but ill try my best
This guy is good! Clear sound, easy-to-understand explanations, easy to follow. If I had money, I would buy private courses he is selling. The only thing I really want to learn more about is how to make your environment/character unique to your game, and I struggle with that. While having good mechanics is important, it's also important to have something that makes your game unique (interesting) in your niche.
39:25 you could add a is falling animation, and two direct is not falling animations then connect to the idle and walking so what you end with is a fall to land animation. Thank you for making your video
Hello, I spent 1 day making this game. This was my first mini game and I learned a lot. Thank you for that. Can you teach me how to make a game that can be played on a phone and how to upload it to the Play Market?
For anyone following tutorials... MAKE SURE YOU TAKE DETAILED NOTES! You will get stuck very often and struggle to sift between various tutorials or quit often as a Beginner. This should ensure you get stuck only on new tasks and not things you've already "learned"
Hi I just want to echo what pretty much everyone is saying, Absolutely fantastic tutorial and explanation, the best by far regarding Unreal, thank you and also going to buy your Udemy courses.
my AI Enemy slides and i checked the "Use Acceleration for Paths" still not doing any animation only slides towards player..any advice ..using unreal 5.5.2

Please teach a fighting game like Mugen, Street Figter, Mortal Combat, Tekken, using ALS, or something to be incredible, how to do magic, combos, these things and thank you
Just a heads up to people that are starting this in 2025. The Infinity Rogue Anim is not a free asset anymore. Most of FAB assets are paid content now.
Do you have any videos going over how to make a total combat system? Like with HP and everything else involved? I really want to find some GAS tutorials that don't require C++. I can't find anything about using the blueprint system in UE 5 using GAS
Hi Gorkathe animation you used is paid and we can't find a free one. is it possible for you to share with us a flip animation that we can use instead?🤔
Hey! at 57:02 , Your weapon is showing in the animation but mine is not showing . I followed your all steps and I want you to help Alsoo in asset browser , You have a_attack, a_attack_montage but its not showing in mine Please Reply I love your videos
8:58 kind of sad that we get no modeling tutorial, but otherwise excellent advice. Thank you for your tutorials, you brought me from zero to making my first 3d game in two days!
im having problems with draging the character model into the Villager folder, my mouse shows 🚫. Fixed it, for anyone wondering i had forgot to extract all from the file so i hope no one does the same misstake.
I 3d modeled a match stick to use as a torch I couldn't figure out how to get it to light, so my character just does a flame on animation and lights on fire themselves

@VIPSweezo I can understand....but most of the games are build in unreal engine and this engine makes development more easy by giving blueprint features the only problem is that most of the assets are paid in unreal
in the video (33:49) for character movement there's only the nav movement option in my unreal engine 5.4 version, please what else can i use as a substitute for that option as its affec5ting the movement of my character and I'm just tired of being stuck there
