Finnish military winter hat in M05 frost camouflage is cool. It's well suitable for general outdoors, keeps you warm to certain extent but it's not an arctic hat.
@Kridetus 666 You probably can if it's ever -15 degrees, but normally you either wear the helmet with merino helmet cap, or the boonie hat. And often times the helmet cap isn't allowed to be under the boonie, which makes trips to the shooting range a nightmare. It's weird during basic training, the captains have a lot of free reign to adjust dress code and conduct regulations.

We were given a nearly identical hat in the Danish army, but for no fucking reason, we weren't allowed to use it.
