Another great video, you always seem to miss the chippy van. Poppy was being very funny in this video, I love that you always include plenty of information about places for dogs. Thanks.
Hi Bob and Jenny, lovely weather for your Scotland trip. A very nice site, little Poppy can’t wait to park up and enjoyed her walk around the site. Lots of detail about the site and where to visit. Shame about the tv! Love it when Poppy sits watching out of the window x
Hello, Bob and Jenny. You're literally half a mile from us! The Mrs saw you in town today as she drove through and got a big dose of celebrity excitement. We have been very restrained in not calling round to say hello. 😆. Only joking. I'm glad we had nice weather in Teesdale for the start of your trip. Take care, Rich and Claire.
We love Scotland and know the M6 pretty well, wonderful once you get past Liverpool and all the traffic. We always stay at Kendal on the way up, a small site called Ashes Caravan Park, just off junction 37 on the M6, its open all year. Small but very scenic! We are off to Shropshire next week had a job booking sites as everywhere full and no room for a tag axle! Stopping at Chapel Lane to see our daughter in Brum first!
Glad you had good weather for the journey to an interesting part of the country. Poppy quite verbal at times, well she's part of the team! Look forward to seeing you on the next video. 😊
Hi hope the weather good up there for you! We are heading up to Beadnell bay soon as well. We love the beaches and the walking, lovely area. Enjoy watching your videos to places we have been and new place that I would like to go now you’ve should us Enjoy your travails.
Jenny and Bob are going the right way round to Scotland 🏴, Scotland 🏴 Camp sites are heaving , it’s only because she knows us well she fitted us in . So crowded I only stayed for 5 nights 🏴
Hi Bob and jenny 👍 just us saying hi and thanks again for sharing this video update 👋 👍you can get some fantastic fish and chips 🍟 at Seahouses 👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🚌🚌🚌
really enjoyed that bob & jen we was looking for a blue IH when you pulled in 😂 , have a wonderful time on your trip looking forward to the follow up vids 👍
I don't know why it amuses me when you come up the M6 through the Howgills - so close to me, except you went to Kirkby Stephen and I'm the other side of Appleby... One day I may catch you on the road. Happy travels and a hug for Poppy from Hamish x
I'm excited to be on this journey with you, it looks lovely there, I love coming & its so nice that you all three can enjoy these adventures, hope you have aclovevely time, I love seeing little poppy, I think Bob should have a chefs outfit & cook jenny a lovely meal xx
Just watched Poshcats video of the castle so looking forward to seeing what you make of it. Great scenery again and the campsite looks very nice and tidy. Poppy is a good little guard dog. Love how she turns around and looks to both of you for approval of her protective abilities.
Have an awesome tour! We are looking forward to our get away next week to Dumfries and Galloway (Auchenlarie Campsite) for a week, then onward to Stevenage for a family occasion and back upto Prestatyn the week after to Ffirth Beach Campsite! Looking forward to our Jollies!
After a very long 10 month wait, we finally took delivery of our new motorhome on 1st September. Our first adventure also takes us north, but only as far as Northumberland. We will still look forward to watching your videos, for the great content you provide. Thanks for inspiring us to take up this amazing pastime, and for all the know how and tips you gave us. Hope you have a great trip.
Finally got our new van home today taking a short trip to Norfolk Brick Kiln to make sure all is well then we will be doing this drive on our Scotish tour. Once I know how we get on with the Adamo 75 4DL I will let you know. Have a great trip I will be watching and traveling with you as always.
You were very blessed called in for towing mirrors Friday at Robson’s of Wolsingham and it’s empty , everything that comes in goes straight out Motor Homes , Caravans he said business has never been so busy .
Cracking video again Bob. You do make me chuckle the three of you😂. I know it’s a personal opinion on the music mate but I think that you’ve hit just the right balance with the journey, some with no music just the driving, some with the chat and some with the music. You’ll never please everyone….. just thought you should know that you’re pleasing me and Suze 😂👌. Thanks for your efforts mate 🙏☕️🙌
We’ve been to this site and it’s a lovely site but noisy from the main road. The Camping and Caravanning Club site, which is a little further along the road, is far quieter as it’s down a lane away from the road. It has a forest walk into Barnard Castle.
We tend not to go to Bernard Castle as we had to do a round trip 4 - 5 times a week including Saturdays when the grandson was in Rugby , Football, and Tennis Tournaments right next door to Bowes Museum . It was wearing for years. Raby Castle 🏰 is at Staindrop. You could have got a reasonably priced meal at Walworth Castle at Darlington. A trip to Sedgefield to George Bolams Farm Food Shop , for deep filled home made Lamb and mint pies 🥧 is worthwhile it’s just off the A19/A1.
Lovely to watch your videos and imagine we're there. Just had a lovey week away in a hired motorhome, did a big loop around the south of England from our home on the Wirral. Hope to buy our own motorhome in the next couple of years if prices and availability of used ones improves somewhat!
Yes but we connect to Pontop Pike. Went to Scotland 🏴 the other day via Alston and had a long laborious 20odd mile detour was worn out with the delay .
Watching this vid ,with you heading up the long way to Scotland , remindided me of a book I read called Sea on Our left , about a Dentist and Pyshio Therapist who Walked around our Beautiful Country , I was Just wondering if you or your dear wife had read it ?, Take Care 🤗
Really enjoying your videos, entertaining and full of good information. We do have one question, how do you get water from the Aquaroll into the van? Our Knaus CUV only has a water fill point unlike our previous caravans which had a power supply in the water inlet to allow a Whale pump to be connected.
Nice video Bob! Enjoyed the music on the drive up there. Can you let us know how you get on for economy and mpg? Our van has the 140bhp engine and we can rarely get 45mpg going 50mph. Forget about going 60 upwards.

sorry Bob forgot to say that we bought the tyre pressure monitor that you showed us earlier, it worked perfectly for the first few trips now we only get a reading on two wheels? help!!!!
thanks Bob for getting back.. yes checked batts at the moment have charged unit with usb lead to reset, now have four wheels paired display. waiting now to try out on next trip. Bob Miller.
Looks like the start of a great trip hope you have good weather and a brilliant time. Just on a personal note over the past 2 years of caravanning during lock down we have noticed a lot of people who have no idea of how to behave on site, we seem to be getting the magaluf set who normally leave their children in the children's club while the adults get gradually inebriated. hence we should have been booked into Putts Corner at the beginning of October for 1 week but have now changed to a cl we have previously used, generally less noisy children. have you noticed any difference as you stay away more than us ?
Poppy's Busy , shut up Daddy 😆😆😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, Bless her , bet she's glad to see those Dog walks after her traveling 😀
Very informative video again. Looking forward to the Barnard castle one now. Enjoy your holiday
Lovin the soundtrack guy's 👍♥

The Farne Islands Grace Darlings home can be accessed by boat 🚣♂️ for a day trip interesting birds there .

Love Dumfries and Galloway. We used to live next door to Stevenage at Letchworth which is worth a visit.
Love your videos

Yes, must try that one, thanks.
Nice tunes Bob,
Thanks
Is there a specsavers anywhere near Barnard Castle ? Asking for a friend.
😃😃😂
Actually there is lol
Can't help but remember that!
Yes and also Darlington High Row

You're not wrong...

Thank you, good luck with your motorhome search.
the fire was at Bilsdale transmitter and has knocked the signal out for a month or so and still causing problems throughout the n

I get around 25-27 mpg according to the dashboard depending if I'm towing or not.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo thanks for the reply! Another thing is the AdBlue, it seems to run out after only 1500 miles! Is that normal?!
I don't have an Ad Blue engine, thank goodness.

You have to pop onto Skye while you are passing
Yes we might do that!
Did you take the A685 from Tebay Services towards Barnard Castle ? Are there any issues with that route ?
Yes, as the video shows we took junction 38 of the M6 onto the A685. It's hilly, windy and narrow in places.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo thanks Bob appreciate the quick response. Great videos keep them coming.

There seem to people driving fast the wrong way round the site quite often! Not been too bothered too much with noise this summer.
But don’t you find they tend not to frequent more sedate sites in Scotland 🏴?
Great Video as usual but Music at start awful
Thanks, but that will be the theme tune I've used as usual on around 900 videos!
