New Budget Tires for Calamity Skoolie Affordable Bridgestone M726 ELA Drive R268 Ecopia Steer Safe

New Tires; a painful if necessary, investment in the life of a Skoolie owner. After we researched tire date codes and realized our 6 tires (4 retreads) averaged 9 years old, it was time for a change. Safety is important when considering a house on 6 wheels. We shopped for price and quality. Our heart said Bridgestone, our wallet laughed. After 6 stores it was recommended that we stop at GCR Tires in Denver (David Scott). The Bridgestone tires we thought, were out of our budget, however they came in at almost $2,000 less than other quotes. In fact, they were within $200 of “no name” imports. For us “peace of mind” made it an easy decision. Thanks to GCR for the help and quick installation.

best those costs a lot one downside to buying a bus. Will check the tires on the one I'm looking at before buying

Maintenance on a bus (or really any RV) are more than a normal car for sure. If given a chance, it would be useful to check a number of things in a bus.

Good choice. M726 been around a good while. Solid tire. Are steers R268? 7 years is life of semi tires.
