Agreed on the false propaganda! We have tried several different antennas and still can't seem to get reception. Would love to chat about a recommendation and see if it resolves our issues.

Certainly some user error - it was literally the first time we had ever powder coated (as documented in the series of videos). We didn't edit out anything to make it "reality" TV worthy. As a side note - that powder coating system was defective out of the box which ALSO contributed to the issues we had. We have 2 other systems (used old harbor freight) and a fancy cheap Chinese set up. Both have NOT experienced the issues of the one in this video. We will get some more videos up - we've gotten much better.

Appreciate that. If you watch the setup video, you will see that it was set up exactly per the instructions. Dedicated line with reg. The new powder coater we bought (and returned) had an internal issue that was creating some of the issues. We picked up a used one with an oven project and have had much greater success with it on the same line with the same pressures. It is a ~10 year old harbor freight but doesn't leak powder like the one in the video.

We hear you on the delays. We bought a toolbox that had been converted into an oven. It is pretty rough and are in the process of retrofitting it for safety and aesthetics. It came with a used harbor freight system and it actually functions. We just got a bad system new out of the box. We'll have some more powder videos coming soon.

Appreciate it - we actually found several to try. Not sure any of them have won us over yet but we will keep looking. If you have a brand you like - let us know and we will check them out.

So honestly... We thought that too. But these have been on for over a year and they are still in great shape. The lock and latch suck but to be honest they sucked from the start.

Thank you for the reply. The regulator was shown in the preceding video and was set at 22psi which is within the Harbor Freight instructions but might be too high. The unit we had was missing a seal which is why it leaked powder regardless of trigger pull. It wasn't fluidizing properly (as we later discovered). We actually ended up with an older Harbor Freight model that came with an oven project. It actually works unlike the new one out of the box. That video will be coming when we get time to edit.

Glad to know... The airline that was connected was regulated to 22psi well within the harbor freight instructions of 10-30psi inlet. And glad to know that the knob isn't a regulator. Although I am not sure what the distinction is between a "pressure reducing valve" and regulator... Especially when the harbor freight instructions state "minor pressure changes can be made with the Pressure Reducer Valve during operation." But THANK YOU for clearly stating that the pressure reducing valve used to perform minor pressure adjustments is not in fact a regulator. PS - the unit was defective (confirmed by harbor freight) and returned. We have since acquired a more commercial powder system and have had no issues. And a used older version harbor freight that came with an oven also with no issues.

@@sivadenterprises5765 The valve is NOT a regulator, it is a flow restrictor.. There is a big difference. Also it is only a 1/4 turn like a ball valve without the stops.. Since you are now powder coating successfully,, You have learned that powder is fogged on not sprayed on and the powder has to be fluidized properly for that to happen

Thank you for the feedback and that is good info for everyone. At the end of our first video, we explained that we were using a dedicated line that was regulated to 22psi. After additional troubleshooting, the unit we received was defective and allowing powder to leak out even when disconnected from air pressure. We returned it to Harbor Freight and purchased a better system that is working without the same problems.

We were comparing the differences in Duluth's video from what we received when purchased. The Duluth product we received stated it was a beefcase on the tag and the video we watched for reference prior to purchase was the Duluth beefcase video. If the difference is actually 2 different products, it would be because Duluth changed naming but didn't update old videos. Either way, the Beefcase is full of simple issues that is not common for Duluth products. Typically, Duluth has thought through all the fine details, and you are left scratching your head thinking "how did they think of that." Instead with the Beefcase, you are left scratching your head thinking "why didn't they think of that or find it during product testing." We strongly recommend most Duluth products - this one was sadly a bust.

Have you used both? We have not been overly impressed but they get the job done. We will be doing a review over the next couple of weeks after having used them on 2 cross country trips. Maintenance on a bus (or really any RV) are more than a normal car for sure. If given a chance, it would be useful to check a number of things in a bus.
