So glad you enjoyed your trip to Savannah. We live an hour south of Atlanta. If you haven’t already visited Hilton Head Island, SC. and Charleston. You have to visit you would also love it there. We visited your beautiful city two years ago when our daughter and her husband adopted a newborn baby. What a blessing he has been to our family. Glad you enjoyed your visit.

Wow deja vu! We love Savannah! Our fave driving trip (from eastern NC) is to drive to Charleston, SC and spend a few days (the food and the horse drawn tours are so good!), then drive to Savannah, GA. In both places we parked our car and got around with fun public transport and an occasional uber ride. We loved the "trolley tours" narrated by the drivers, it was the FIRST thing we did, and it set the tone for a LOVELY lively time in Savannah :) Our favorite experience there was visiting the Savannah history museum and being part of the Battle of Savannah reenactment tour- I am 63, dh is 69, and we had to hustle but it was so much fun! Here's a little bit about it from a description: "The Battle of Savannah reenactment tour is amazing! Hi Marnie! Beautiful video!! Loved every part of it, especially seeing your enthusiasm standing by the edge of the Atlantic was fantastic as I literally lived a 10 minute drive next to that view of the shoreline!
My husband and I did this over our birthdays late October 2018. TOTALLY fell in love!!!! We stayed in a B&B Garden house. HIGHLY recommend it. I want to go back and do a girls / yoga week❤️. PS: I did a Fried Green Tomato and a Grits self foodie tour. 🥰
Great vlog. I lived in Savannah for many years. You took good tours. On your next visit, check out River Street and the huge cargo ships. The local owned seafood restaurants are awesome.
Love the history, grand homes, all the squares with green space sprinkled everywhere and all the beautiful architecture that is all over Savannah! What a lovely area for you and Mike to explore together. Outside the United Airline debacles, it seemed like a relaxing, beautiful and interesting getaway! Hope you feel better soon.
I loved this video! I have been to Savannah so many times, I go once each each year in January for work. It’s so nice to see it through your eyes. I recognize so many of my favorite places. I hope you had a wonderful time!

We spent 2 weeks over Christmas with family in Savannah. Went on to a family condo on the beach on Tybee Island for 4 weeks. Love Savannah, favorite place to visit. Drove back to Iowa February 1 with overnighter in Nashville. This is the best time of year to visit, summer is a killer there ! Loved your video.
You are truly turning into a Southern Belle! Welcome to the club! Savannah is a wonderful place, enjoyed it thru your eyes. By the way, when you come South, do Delta. They own Atlanta... Loving your amazon fashions!
Michael booked the flights and when I found out we were flying United I was NOT happy! I said...we're flying in the South and we're not flying Delta? What were you thinking?! He has since learned his lesson. United could not have been more rude on every level, both coming and going. One of the gate agents even said to me, "We're not Southwest." OMG!!

Savannah is great! We stayed at an Airbnb on one of the squares and it was awesome. It was in the zone where you could walk around with a drink so we did a ghost tour with a glass of wine!
When we first drove in we saw the most elegantly dressed man walking a King Charles Cavalier, smoking a cigar and holding a highball glass. It was awesome!
I get your desire to live there. I could too! What an amazing place! As a native (now relocated) Chicagoan I was happily surprised to find out about the Pulaski connection. Loved the vlog! Thanks so much for taking us along. XO
I love Savannah it is so beautiful. We stayed in Hilton Head and went there every night to eat, shop and walk around. We saw a beautiful Dalmatian puppy one night at the dog park. In the summer they have a live band in the street. We loved the peach sangria.
Loved your vlog Marnie! Did you and Michael have an opportunity to go to River Street? It’s a huge draw in Savannah and crazy during St. Paddy’s Day! My sister lives there and we just love it! You should also eat at the Pink House next time you go and get a burger at The Green Truck! The cuisine is amazing! 😘
