@@KingOfDoma Very much "Oh this guy is here a lot now....what do you mean he's been here awhile? What do you mean he's been adjacent even longer? ONE LORE DLC PLEASE."
Jacob is absolutely one of those "I put my points into charisma in speechcraft" folks, and it is both inspiring and frightening to see. I'm glad he uses his powers for good. Also I admire the spine of people from New York, the absolute brass balustrades.
Listening to Jacob talk about the stories behind why sellers are selling their particular items, immediately reminded me of Patches "Stories, I'm here for the stories." in Best of Intentions.
Imagine being an elderly couple that loves to go to swap 'n' shops and dominate the competition with all of your manipulative and underhanded psychological haggling tricks developed over years of experience, and you run into the *one* New Yorker in all of Victoria that went there too. That's 14:23.
Well, obviously there needs to be a third ep where multiple teams are given a table with the goal of buying stuff low before general admission and then selling it higher after.
Man, Jacob is such a class-A human being. Absolute joy to get to watch through the Internet; best wishes to him and all the LRR folks and LRRfiliated folks!
Jacob's energy (makes me consistently question my sexual orientation), Alex's style (that man is living his best life and we are all npcs in it), Ian's calm and reserved nature (honestly if and when he becomes a dad that will be the luckiest kid on the planet) and Graham being the Certified Dad Man make this another video that works as a salve against the abrasiveness of modern day existence. Thank You Very Much.
Yes! More Jacob! It's lovely to see him in something I never expected to be his element, but so very much is - from being able to barter with people to his storyteller's soul picking through the mass threads of fate on display here. So fun~
I said, aloud, "Oh I wanna see Jacob haggle" but the last word had so, SO many more consonants and vowels in it and I'm not entirely sure why. Came out something like "hayughghllll", and was followed by a happy clappy.
Thanks for another great video! I look forward to the possibility of further Swap and Shop content. Also, Alex's semi beach-shirt and suspenders look just works.
The sequel I was expecting to happen at some point comes so soon! A perfect way to cap off a long work day, and relax with dinner. Love you guys, and love your videos!
Jacob has kind of become my favorite person on LRR that's not in the main cast ever since the kindness war videos that came out from the various desert bus streams
Oh yes, I watched the "Visit" edition of Swap&Shop, now YT recommended this. Coming from a background that has a lot to do with this kind of event, in Germany, I am rather excited to see how the content will unfold.
Love a good swapfest! Here in Boston we have the MIT swapfest in a parking garage where you can buy radio parts, old games, and partially disassembled robots among other things. It's awesome to sell your stuff to people who will actually use it instead of just throwing it out!
One of these is going to start and look like a swap video, but Graham is going to say, "Now I know you're thinking this is a swap video, but this is actually the start of Road Quest 2." and people will lose their minds...I know I will.
Jacob hang on, are you insinuating that, perhaps, blue cookie tins contain things OTHER than sewing supplies? What else even would go in one of those? Man, that Jacob, what a wild idea person.
They don't do a ton of D&D so it makes perfect sense to get rid of him, but it's still sad to see The Great Demon Lord of Undeath: Demon Prince Orcus leave the moon base. He's been a shelf fixture for so many years now. So long less than sweet prince. Here's hoping you slay may an adventurer in your next life.
I'm so happy that Jacob is in more LRR things now. He is such a delightful person.
He's another LRR Member With Specific And Useful Skills. He feels like he came with story-based DLC, like Javik. He's great!
@@KingOfDoma Very much "Oh this guy is here a lot now....what do you mean he's been here awhile? What do you mean he's been adjacent even longer? ONE LORE DLC PLEASE."
i feel like they said at some point that he was hired on for a more consistent (part time?) role.
He seems very organized!
@@KingOfDoma What a great metaphor. Also, Jacob has the best laugh, right behind Alex.

"Can you believe the absolute Philistines who last had this vehicle did not have CBC tuned onto the radio?!"
I knew Ian was a man of culture.

I love seeing Jacob and Alex in LRR. Alex's off screen cackling is the best
Jacob lit up at "there's a goal", and I am F'N HERE FOR IT
Well, obviously there needs to be a third ep where multiple teams are given a table with the goal of buying stuff low before general admission and then selling it higher after.
And then the "Bingo" episode. With objects selected by the community.
That is the format of English television show, Bargain Hunt.
It's a fun format and the LRR crew could 100% pull it off.
I am worried about Team Alex, they end up with more, than they brought with them😂

“Why are you up at 6:30 on a Sunday?” he asks, as I watch this on 6:30 on a Sunday.
I'm glad Jacob is.
It was fun watching this live with my partner, who was impressed with how much of a beast of a selling machine Jacob is.
18:15 is my exact reason for loving garage/yard sales. I rarely buy anything, I just want to see people's stuff on display. Engagement!
Yes! More Jacob!

Alex’s find at 12:28 reminds me of some height/position markers I’ve seen some stop motion animators use. Very cool find
Everything about this is such a delight, coming together to make the ultimate comfort re-watch video
I saw Jacob's inner salesperson awaken when he heard the goal
Love seeing Jacob bring his NY boy energy in a Canadian setting. Always giving us a good name. 👏🏽😆
Thanks for another great video! I look forward to the possibility of further Swap and Shop content.
Also, Alex's semi beach-shirt and suspenders look just works.
The pair next to y'all in the swinging chairs is a whole mood haha
If I were there I would have haggle for those chairs
*David Attenborough voice* and here we see a Jacob in their natural environment
I love Jacob's absolute glee over doing some haggling. 😄
Graham: "Alex got a weird thing..."
Me: "Oh! A surface gage! I use one of those almost every day at my job!"
Lovely unexpected thing I recognize. :-D
I love the idea that Alex just tagged along and graham was genuinely surprised
Where I'm from, we call what you were referring to as tents "Gazebos" to differentiate from the kind of tent you'd use for camping.
i love Jacob in this !
I would watch Jacob haggling and selling old LRR stuff every week :D
I was right, it was fun to see with a different cast of characters! Send the non-morning people next!
Love watching Jacob get his hustle on
And now im like.... Jacob would make an amazing character in cH
6:15 I appreciate Ian still playing his part and staring directly at the camera
5:37 Whoever edited this, I love your **Jacob is excited** text at 5:48 😆
Both of these videos were great, tho the energy on this one with Jacob was a step above. The sheer giddiness at the start was great.
'Where are you from?' "New York" 'Oh...' < Wear that badge of honor with pride.
I love that there have been 2 of these and both times Graham forgot cash. I would keep watching these if you guys keep making them.
I adore Jacob's energy in this :)
The sequel I was expecting to happen at some point comes so soon! A perfect way to cap off a long work day, and relax with dinner. Love you guys, and love your videos!
Love seeing Jacob and Alex here!
It really makes me miss The Panalysts 😭
Jacob excited for haggling and Alex excited for teeny things, yes yes good excellent
Not gonna lie I jumped out of my seat and yelled for my wife to come over because we LOVED the last one. So happy to see the Horn return at the end.
Jacobs speaker story is so good
JACOB is EXCITED
Okay, so Part 3 HAS to be Swap & Shop: Bingo Card Edition.
Jacob has kind of become my favorite person on LRR that's not in the main cast ever since the kindness war videos that came out from the various desert bus streams
Jacob has that look of glee I imagine he has when he undercuts someone by 1 gil on the Market Board.
Oh yes, I watched the "Visit" edition of Swap&Shop, now YT recommended this. Coming from a background that has a lot to do with this kind of event, in Germany, I am rather excited to see how the content will unfold.

There's something really funny to me about MIT folks selling each other discarded pieces of old robots.
I approve of my two favorite YT watches… LRR and Swap/Flea/Garage Sale videos! Well done folks!
I love Jacob's energy.
Jacob haggling is flipping mesmerizing
Man Jacob made this episode. He needs a series of these.
jacob is such a delight, and i am always happy to see an alex appearance especially to get to go scavenge for tools
Don't think that FFXIV hoodie goes unnoticed Jacob 👀

Jacob bringing the Spamton vibes because he's all about DEALS
"where are you from?"
"New York"
"oh."
had to be a good exchange to witness in person.
This was a triumph. I'm making a note here: Huge success.
I mean if asking for it worked last time, then more please, this content slaps
Seeing that Bray Wyatt POP! figure at 13:03 is surreal to see so soon after he’s passed. RIP Windham Rotunda ❤
I saw this in the live but that thumbnail is so good i had to watch it again
I liked this a bunch. I always want more Jacob in everything, but now I want more of him doing haggling.
Oh heck I just noticed Ian's Konami Code. Well done, sir!
I love Jacob. He always makes me smile :)
I imagine the sign above your stall as "As Possibly Seen On The Internet".
Jacob hang on, are you insinuating that, perhaps, blue cookie tins contain things OTHER than sewing supplies? What else even would go in one of those? Man, that Jacob, what a wild idea person.
It's true! When I was younger, my grandparents had one that was full of crayons! 😊
I love seeing Jacob. And Alex. And Ian. And Graham. Not in that particular order.
Ok hopefully no move in 5 years, but maybe a 5 year deep clean/swap meet trip 😂

That was a lot of fun to watch.
Oh my god I was just quoting you at the end xD that wasn't meant to be a "hey do it more" I did not wish this hell upon you noooo
oh look, me in the intro!
I love Jacob.
That's it. End of comment. He's just great.
I was relieved to see that you had obtained a professional before starting on the sales leg of this journey. ;) Hi, Jacob!
Dude this looks like so much fun. I wish we had something like this where i'm from
Keep an eye on local organizations, I've noticed 2 or 3 new pop up "trunk sales," etc. being held by various local orgs this summer
@@Momo83 unfortunately it's not really in the culture here i guess, since we hadnt had anything similar since i was a boy...
What a great concept! Loved the video guys.
banger of a follow up!
Man, this content is just so chill.
I really enjoyed the mix of people in this video
Wish I lived closer to Canada
I would throw down so much for any old LRR Moonbase stuff (especially if any LRR peeps are willing to autograph it)
I now wish I was in BC at 7:30 in the morning on a long weekend to buy stuff from the Moonbase.
14:59 POV: You are about to take M&Ms to the face at ballistic speeds
Swap shops are the best never know what gem you'll find
adored this content
Ian DOES have swag!😆
Love the callback to the last intro
18:55 you know from this angle it looks like you could just hop the curb, drive through the grass, and be gone...
16:26 I see you suggesting comboing Colossus of Sardia & Instill Energy, and Ali From Cairo & Jade Monolith there Mr. Mark Rosewater.
ALGORITHM ENGAGEMENT SQUAD... ENGAGE!!!
FOR THE ALGORITHM! 🎉
I'm doing my part!
Me omw to engage with the algorithm
Blood for the Blood God, Interaction for the Algorithm!
Im rolling out
Absolutly great stuff
Love it.
17:25 Dagnabbit Alex 😂
cant wait for the bingo episode on live.
I'm so curious if that was Cam's kicking door or the door to the dinosaur past that you had in the van.
I would engage with a series like this. I welcome any and all wonderful suggestions for names
wonderful
God I love Ian 😂
watched the live but this was so fun!
Came for the magic. Stayed for... Whatever this is 😂
*How did I not know we had a swap & shop?*
