It’s been a long time on planning a day to film trains in Lombard. Since we’re still in the early stages of finding potential spots for Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 in September, it was only fitting that we would give it a shot. Originally, we were gonna try out other parts of Lombard. However, it got so busy out trackside that we needed found the right opportunity to switch spots without missing out on the action. Overall, it was another productive day on this hot summer day in Lombard. Enjoy the video!

Tuesday 20 July 2024 was a busy railfanning day at Lombard, Illinois for you and the crew, Andrew! The day started out with heavy Metra morning commuter action followed by Union Pacific freight action with mid-day Metra action thrown in.
