It was fun filming steam locomotives for the past couple of weeks. But we won’t be seeing steam for a while so we decided to return to the BNSF Racetrack at LaGrange, IL to see Metra trains, Amtrak trains, and BNSF freight trains coming through. We begin the day with the busy morning rush hour featuring lots of Metra trains. The freight trains started to come through just after things have calmed down. By the time the freight trains started coming through, the weather began to warm up to the point where we took off our jackets and sweatshirts. It was a busy day for us out trackside which meant that we had a solid day. Enjoy this video presentation from the BNSF Racetrack!

As others have observed - you need to tighten up the tripod but, and I don't know if you can do it, but try turning off the auto-focus. The camera seems to be getting confused by the high speed passing of the trains. Just a couple of friendly thoughts!
We recently acquired new camera equipment and we’re trying lots of experiments to limit as much camera shaking as we can.
