I love this way of teaching-using songs you love to learn an instrument. We even have a name for it in drumming-we call it ‘song drumming’. Also, y’all forgot that Ringo is the one singing lead when The Beatles covered “Act Naturally”. That’s a tall order-playing that up-tempo shuffle/‘train’ beat AND singing lead. My hat’s off to anyone who an do that well…

Buck didn’t write it. Johnny Russell wrote it Released March 11 1963
And Voni Morrison.
The Beatles covered it two years later in 1965.
They didn’t do the key change where don does that funky chicken pickin to get to the new key.
