Yes, kawhi had a really good team, which is why it's impressive that he had more finals MVP's at his age than Kobe, and Kobe was in the league at 18 and won 3 titles by the same age as kawhi, with no finals MVPs. Kawhi got his first one playing on a loaded SAS team, then got one after leading TOR to a win over GS with pascal siakam as his 2nd best player. I'm not saying Kawhi is necessarily a better clutch player than Kobe, but I certainly think it's a lot closer than they think. Kobe holds the record for most misses in clutch time too
Yeah that's not even a bad take like this dumb uploader claims. Kawhi is just all around better player than Kobe ever was but injuries hold him back and in the end Kobe will have the better career of the two.
I am a celtics fan, I would say Kobe is more clutch, because Kawhi is not that type of guy, he is great but not on that level, but Kobe isn't exactly that clutch either, Kobe taking the last shot is just inevitable, him making it is a very slim chance, its honestly laughable how people think he is so clutch, when he bricks most of his game winners

Kobe was the ultimate clutch player of all-time. Like all those regular season games vs the blazers and that one famous playoff buzzer beater against the suns. (Let’s ignore how he played that game 7, doesn’t matter he made a cool face).
" I WANT IGUALDALLLA" will never get old
This video should be renamed “The reason Stephen A got rid of Max” 😆
To Paul Pierce defense I always thought and still do think they were suppose to be talking about the wings on the court!
Max was idiotic on he said Kawhi > Kobe but he was right for 3 straight years about the Warriors Dynasty winning again
@@YungPhilosopher I wouldn't say that, Kobe was def better than Kawhi, but Kawhi is a lot easier to play with, much better 3 point shooting defending than Kobe, and has higher bball iq, but Kobe is still better of course, Kawhi's mentality isn't to be better than anyone, its to just win no matter what, he said it himself, he cares little about stats and accolades
16:32 B solz squeaky voice “they would’ve had 3 rings” has me dead asf. But he not Lyin
Back in 2019 Kd not being top 5 shouldn’t have been a segment, fast forward to 2022 and I think it’s a real debate whether or not Kd is top 5 right now
I think it was more Of a debate now than it was back then. We got Bron, Steph, Jokic, Giannis and from there I don’t see much question when it comes to anybody else. In 2019 though. Sheesh
@@zaybangaaa9432 Giannis>>>
Clutch is how you play in elimination games to me, the most important games where you have to be clutch
Luka got a nasty step back
The Kawhi and Kobe take is not as bad as ppl make it out to be. Kobe took every game winning shot the Lakers had
No way Pierce would win in 06. That shaq was in no way the player that he was in 05.
No offence, but to say that is no having ever seen those finals
I mean, the 06 finals is a little tough to judge anyways, I wouldn’t go as far as to call it rigged, but it was shady for sure
Nah, Solz is so bias for Celtics. Wade was the better player man, his impact on both ends was insane. Pierce with Wade's teams us debatable.
Max is the type of person to say without Andre iguodala warriors would not of won the finals
I remember when Kobe retired niggas just started hating on him like crazy
This last season I think luka had showed that he has the best iso moves in the league rn , like if he got his opponent in a iso at the wing and his in triple double position it’s a bucket
Y’all had to think about the KD take?? In 2019 coming off of 2 back to back finals mvps where he was clearly the best player wit Steph and Bron on the floor? Wtf
Wtf? No he wasn't "clearly better" than lebron. They were on the same level if not lebron was playing better
@@stefoskyriakou3651 in the 17 finals KD averaged 35 homie 💀.. I’m sorry, to me he was the best.. Bron ain’t been the best player to me since 2016
I got somebody mad cause I said KD isn’t in my top 5 at this point in time. Giannis, Jokic, Luka, LeBron, Embiid are all more impactful than KD. If Kawhi comes back the same player Add him to that list too.
You think Kawhi and LeBron are better than KD in 2022? You're tripping
Let me go ahead and sub these young dudes. Yall hilarious for real!
Thanks for the entertainment bruvs
Sage don't let skip hear you talking...or else he'll bring up "what did curry average on the last 3 games of the 2016 finals?" 😂
My 2K23 build is going to be a 2 way perimeter wing guy 😂🙌🏻
Fate of the universe on the line… I want combo wing guy Stephen Curry!!!
I fucking knew a Ryan Hollins take on Giannis was gonna be here
Yes, Pierce is wrong
What the F??? Kobe had Shaq... people always say " so and so had X, Y, Z". No player had a better roster out the Gate than Kobe. And when he was the lone star the Lakers where trash And he requested a trade.
As opposed to greats having no help at the beginning and then getting help in their primes. Whereas Kobe had nothing during his prime years. All Kobe ever needed was a competent big and he was contending.
@@Shemzinho do you have the same attitude towards LeBron. Coz he got no help for about 11/19 years pf his career. And he still made the finals 3 times with no help.
@@killjoy3373 yeah during his first run with Cleveland. After that he’s had Wade, Bosh, Kyrie, Love, AD. He’s done well for himself
@@Shemzinho just curious how much playoff success did Bosh, Kyrie, Love, and AD as team leaders? They have a lot of combined seasons playing without Lebron. I'll give you Wade though.
@@ramsfan1988 that's not the argument. The argument was LBJ not having help his whole career when it was only during his first stint in Cleveland. After that he's used free agency masterfully and formed superteams which he deserves to do.
That Ryan hollins take oof
Pierce had the first signing super team of all time, got beat by Kobe with just pau gasol, would’ve lost in 08 if Bynum was healthy, and got bounced every year after that
Ray and KG were traded for, either way that’s still the first Bonafide Superteam where Stars in their Prime came together. This casual fan idea that any team formed Via Trade isn’t a Superteam is absolute shit🤡. A Superteam drafted and grown, traded, or signed is a Superteam regardless. I can grow a grow a chicken, steal a chicken or buy a chicken, I still have a chicken🤣
ESPN does this on purpose to create drama on their show
Just tbh, they setup Paul Pierce for failure LMAO
I don't think the Kawhi Kobe debate is as far as they make it seem. I think Kobe just has a longer track record. If Kawhi is consistent next few years, maybe he might take that W.
Healthy
Kawhi healthy obviously a championship level player that’s the only thing stopping him is injuries
Nah that wasn’t a potato that shut had veins
To think that AD at any point was better then KD is ludicrous.
Budenholzer deserved the smoke if you watched for more than a year.
He took a fat fuckin' L because he didn't want to change rotations or anything and was pushed to the brink before he finally relented the next year.
It was honestly upsetting to watch.
Ryan Hollins should be on this because of his worst takes too
Steven a the goat of facial expressions ong
The team was Chicago, I’m still in shock.
I swapped Pierce with Lebron too by accident 😂
now the real question HAS to be, how does all of this affect paul pierce’s legacy???
Paul forgetting all about KG, Ray Allen and rondo is crazy. Sure they’re not Bron and Bosh but still technically a super team
But he literally said if he had a super team if he was younger.. he was early 30s during thhat team
@@lolstagarcia24 true but bron and Bosh joined Miami when wade was about the same age as pierce was
Solz needs to start just reading the titles again
Paul was spitting about that d wade one ngl
People love facts… unless those facts work in Lebron’s favor or against Kobe and/or Jordan.
People be forgetting Paul Pierce has a FMVP
If bsoulz and sage think Paul is winning in 06 with a 13 pts a game shaq THEY ARE ON CRACK
The ring debate determining who the goat is is dumb and I'd it did determine the goat it would be bill Russel lmao
and Robert Horry would be better than MJ, Bron, and Kobe 💀
Man I'll never forget that Max take on Kawhi being more clutch then Kobe, I almost threw up dawg😂🤦
Honestly not a horrible take when you look at stats
Max’s nasty for that one
I am a celtics fan, I would say Kobe is more clutch, because Kawhi is not that type of guy, he is great but not on that level, but Kobe isn't exactly that clutch either, Kobe taking the last shot is just inevitable, him making it is a very slim chance, its honestly laughable how people think he is so clutch, when he bricks most of his game winners
I can't stomach the Kobe Hate we're getting. I love Kawhi but man, he may not be half as productive as Kobe was at the same age Kawhi is now. Just look at the games played. How can you be clutch if you not even playing a whole lot of time?? Let Kobe play 2 NBA games a week like Kawhi, I'm pretty sure his clutch % would have been higher.
The like buttons actually is rainbow
I WANT IGUADALA!! 🤣🤣
ayo first take i almost drunk bleach 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
