- Cessna 172M Skyhawk II C-GHBM of BP Aviation out of the Penticton Regional Airport CYYF is seen taxiing and taking off out of CZNL in Nelson, British Columbia. Notice the geese, especially the one that is very plane-unaware! Also, looks like there was another spotter at the end of the runway. Nice to see!
Always great to see these nice general aviation flight training aircraft. Hope you enjoy!
It's nice to see the plane I flew for my CPL flight test being put to good use.
That's really cool you used to fly this 172, it's a good looking machine. Thanks for watching!
Did all my initial training and first solos in HBM. Legendary machine
Very cool! Was happy to catch this one, she's a beauty.
There's one, the good ol' Skyhawk out of CZNL: Nelson. As always, thanks forsharing and keep em' coming.
Thanks for watching! I always like seeing some 172 action at CZNL.
Good catch.
Thanks!
The Good Ole C172. Great shot
Thanks a lot!
Stunning footage Jesse. Love to see the geese! Great video of this beautiful Cessna Skyhawk.
Thanks so much Matt! Yes, the geese are always fun to see, though sometimes a little too close to the action.
Absolutely love the Cessna
Same here! Thanks for watching.
That was the perfect spot to capture the take off. Fantastic footage, mate! Enjoyed!
Thanks a lot Mylos! Yes, I got lucky with the rotation this time 😃👍
Excellent video!
Thank you very much!
Flying is my passion. My grandparents that live in Panama City used to have a seaplane business but they had to sell it because my grandfather who was the pilot had heart surgery and the doctor said he couldn't fly anymore and he had to give up his pilot license. He was heartbroken about it.
Stunning video man! Liked!
Thanks a lot!
Back to my flight training days...
Great catch !!! Huge LIKE
Love those little fliers.
Same here, they're always fun to see.
@@TheHDAviation Yep.
Stunning footage
Many thanks!
Nice catch, great looking Cessna :-)
Thanks a lot!
Nice footage as always!
Thanks a lot!
Great catch! 0:36 Looks like the geese is really in a hurry.
(0:36) Near miss while backtaxiing....
Ya, looks like they had to do some hard braking to avoid it!
The only plane I flew in real life but the SP and R model. When this is over I hope to take more lessons.
I trained in several M models and an N at the same airport. Before those, I trained in an N model that acted like a P model so we used the P paperwork issued by Cessna for that plane rather than N.
Sounds like an aca allertor winding down
Perfect short-field technique!
Great job
Great takeoff footage!
Excellent moi!!🌠🛩️
Thanks!
Timing a little different, possibly could of had a bird strike. That first one looked like a passenger running late trying to catch the plane.
Haha that's true, it does look like a passenger trying to catch up to a flight 😂
GREAT footage, I watched it twice, love the Skyhawk, ya those geese are crazy and I wonder if the new spotter follows your channel if he does it's the best place for him to watch & learn from one of the best UA-camr's.
Thanks Ed! I always like seeing some little 172's in action, it's fun to think how many pilots started out with these great aircraft. It was nice to see someone else out there enjoying the planes too!
Very nice video, Jesse! I thought it made a little bit more noise - XD
From me like 186 and take care, my good friend!
Thanks again Volker! Hope you're having a great weekend.
@@TheHDAviation Yes, i hope you too! I wish you a wonderful new week :-)
That plane is popular
Yes, the most popular aircraft of all time!
Great footage as always. My first 100 or thereabouts, hours was in 172M and N models. The earlier versions with the O-300 Continentals were a bit of a struggle buggy, but the Lyc powered ones were a tad better.
Thanks a lot! Sounds like you have quite a bit of experience in the 172, bet they are fun little aircraft to fly. Always love seeing them flying around CZNL.
Jesse my good friend, nice catch, i like the red livery on this plane, headed out toward B.O.B, have a good one pal, btw, at the end of the runway before takeoff roll, i can see across the creek what appears to be a railroad track bed with a single rail line, is that a track ?, just curious
Thanks Steve, I'm always happy to spot these nice little Cessna's. Good eye, yes that's a railway track in the distance. Unfortunately Nelson only gets cargo trains, no passenger ones.
@@TheHDAviation Jesse my good friend, even though i majored in aviation in college, then was in law enfircement for a while, i finished out into an engineer/driver of freight & passenger trains( Amtrak) , but i was almost sure that was a railroad track bed in the background, guess i was right, there are not many passenger trains in North America anymore. Have a great weekend & stay safe my friend.
that's a cessna 172s skyhawk
These little Cessna’s are always fun to see.
