I agree. He kept having to adjust the face and nose over and over trying to get the right angle and size. He would just have to start the whole drawing over again on traditional media.

Everyone’s saying the edits are distracting but there’s millions of comments saying that. She already knows. You don’t have to remind her. Also her art is good. The edit is her opinion and you can’t complain about that. If you are going to complain about getting motion sickness, don’t watch it. It’s not her fault you are getting motion sickness. I watched the whole video and all I see is a beautiful drawing and I love the edit. To ericanthonyj, I found your channel today and I had to say something about the comments. Also I’d love to learn how to draw like you and your drawings are amazing.

damn, still i'd say it'd be a better investment to get a decently priced laptop and a drawing tablet without a screen.
It'd cost you less than $1000. There are many free computer programs for drawing.
But if you really insist you can bust your wallet on an ipad, you do you.
I love watching a recording of drawings like this, I wish it was done more often but I know the process is harder than just uploading the screen recording from Procreate. Thanks for uploading this for us!

I love watching the process....but those stupid video effects make it more jarring to watch. With the speed of the video PLUS those visual effects, it was giving me motion sickness. Keep it simple.

I, for one, am not distracted by the occasional edits. I’m confused as to why people are seeing it as a problem. Awesome style, btw. I really really like the way this was recorded. I don’t see it like this that often, usually it’s just the screen recording but I like seeing the hand working too lol

Because some people get motion sickness very easily (I am not one of them) and it’s giving them stomach aches from seeing all the different effect overlapped with the sped up video.
I love your art work. Very beautiful. I had to skip to end though as I have epilepsy and get sickly from the visual effects added to the edited video.

I really like videos where they show what they use, even if it’s sped up. Like now I know what brush you use and what blending modes you use and it’s helpful.
My mum got me procreate and an iPad drawing book when I was like 10 and I had no idea how good and professional it was until really recently

As a word of advice, effects are supposed to enhance something, not distract from it. Unfortunately, the effects are extremely distracting, especially the jumps and glitches. Otherwise, amazing work and great color choices!
It gave me lots of satisfaction to see how many times he had to re-proportion her features - lmao, that shit is fucking hard! Noses & lips will be the death of me!

JC Jores Pelias i have the older version, i’m actually upgrading because of the lack of space. it’s quite hard to use references while drawing. i recommend the 12.9 inch, it’s much better for drawing

I like the flipping affect, I have a hard time with symmetry and check my drawings in mirrors or flip them through a light. Definitely going through a learning curve though with procreate.

Though it'd be nice that if you continue to use those light and color effects you'd give an epilepsy/seizure warning.
I mean, it was kind of nice to break up the video a bit, but I worry about those prone to seizures because this could definitely set them off.
Pretty much perfect lighting for that iPad though, little to no glare. And I really like those purple shadows by her ears, and on her breads. Overall pretty cool.

sure, but it's very unnecessary and annoying to look at the art with. the color goes away too.
