I disagree with Bryan morgan .this video inspired me to the point to try to make some of the same type of art work. and yes I could watch MR Samuel Yellin all day.
Six years of no videos from the premier Blacksmiths org in the world and instead of doing some instructional videos for everyone to learn from you do this? File footage from 100 years ago? Common man, get a film crew together and make a show like The Woodwrights Shop.
Agree. This is cool no doubt, but the fact that others are putting up how to vids regularly, private smiths I mean and barely a thing from ABANA does not reflect well on the Org. I think most new smiths could easily say they've learned a ton from youtube, but very very little from ABANA. And then it is MArk Aspery's ABANA curriculum.
The guy is doing this in a shirt and tie. That's some class right there!
Love his work!
Notice how long the handle is on his hammer and how fast he swings it. Or maybe it just the old movie makes it look faster.
Edge Precision it’s sped up a bit
Those handles are long!
Smokin’!

I must respectfully disagree. I am always happy to watch one of the acknowledged masters work, and always learn from their techniques.
