Related to tip #12, I almost by chance/accident realised that you can use the marquee tool to copy automation on your tracks using option-drag-and-drop. Just mark an automated area with the marquee tool and then option-drag it to another place on the track. Very handy if you for instance have a volume raise going into every chorus and a volume decrease going out of the chorus.
This is GOLD. Been using logic for 2 years and I've accidentally selected this and I never thought to look up what it does until today... when I'm starting to mix the last song on my album lol
Charles, thank you so much! I am over here in England, this video is so useful for me as I am registered as blind, not black blind. so having someone run over what you can do with these kind of tools is so useful..
Charles, thank you so much for the 12 different Marquee Tool Tricks you have shown us ... I will start and if I have a question I know you will have an answer for it, but now I am going to listen to your new track if I did see it correctly ... ☺sorry, I started watching your tutorial first ... you are a star ... I appreciate so much you let us take a right 🎠and solve anything beside ... and a big congratulations to your first child 👣... all the best to you three xxx
Yoo, i don’t know if you can help me but every time i drag a sample to logic from one of my sample packs it always duplicates the sample and it creates a 24bit file of the sample i chosen and when i look in my sample pack folder, there is a duplicate of that sample i have choosen. Is there a solution for this ? Thank you
Hey brother i don't know about you but i am very serious problem plzz tell me solution ---so i am talking with my gf 1 year before on call and i started call recorder and my friend unfortunately deleted recoding how i find my call recording plzzz 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Dude, Remember when ya were bummed out cause ya worked on a song for soooo long, and ya didn't like the results. I think this computer generated music has taken some of the "FEELING" used to create songs. Just jamming jamz, ol school way. Then use logic to tweak it.
🎯Are there other way you use the marquee tool? Let me know in a comment ↓

How do you name/label the vertical sections of the marquee ruler?
THNX
If im trying to delete a selection and it won't let me, does that mean my settings are off ?

This is off-topic, but is it possible to speed up the tempo 5-8 bpms of a recorded track of real drums in Logic Pro X?
