- On Monday 12th September 2016 I took a journey from Doncaster to Peterborough on a Virgin Trains East Coast 225.
Class 91 91124 is propelling the train, with Class 91 91128 'Intercity 50' dead in tow, and DVT 82209 leading.
This is the 09:45 Leeds to London King's Cross train, however the service started at Doncaster due to 91128 breaking down.
Luckily 91124 was spare in Doncaster West Yard and attached to the train, so the service was able to proceed!
Very good mixture of outside and inside sceneries!
5mnz7fg thanks!
there was a Double Class 91 on that train
Indeed :-)
Captain Sensible2001 91128 had broken down, so 91124 was attached at Doncaster in order for the service to proceed
Did you get complimentary food and drink ?

what were the seats like?
southeastern failways I find them very comfortable
ECMLexpress That's good to hear. Most of the first class nowadays are pretty much standard class seats with a cloth on top or an iron board seat with a cloth on as you can see on the newer electrostar EMU.
